So did I. I'm happier because of it. It was almost stressful always feeling the need or compulsion to check in. I also got tired of seeing people posting about how they are off to the gym or just had a great work out, or got fillings on their teeth or their kid just had their first burp. Fuck it.
I don't use FB much but even on my cel phone contacts whatsap I have more than a few that have passed and I have trouble deleting them.
I checked a while back and I had 27 people who have passed away on my phone contacts. It's kind of nice to be looking for a contact and to come across an old friend's name. Brings a smile to me....sometimes on a bad day. I'm 60 years old and have a lot of contacts and friends. At my age, friends and family pass on way too frequently.
