Happy Mother's Day : Chris Bosh being sued by mother Freida over eviction from home

[FONT=&quot]Chris Bosh has been trying to have his mother evicted from a house he owns in Texas, and the NBA star is reportedly being sued over it.

[FONT=&quot]According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Bosh’s mother Freida has filed a lawsuit claiming Chris promised to take care of her and allow her to live in the Desoto home for the remainder of her life. Freida says Chris had her sign documents in 2005 related to the deed of the home, and she believed at the time that she was signing papers related to her divorce from Chris’ father, Noel, to transfer the house to her name. Instead, she says the documents transferred the house to Chris’s name only.

She claims that before signing the deed, Chris promised her that she could remain in the home for the duration of her life. Freida says she relied on her son’s promise that he would take care of her and manage her affairs.

However, she claims Chris misrepresented the documents she was signing and the documents actually transferred the property to Chris solely.

Freida claims she only learned that she didn’t own the home in August 2017, when she was contacted by Chris’ lawyer.

The suit says Chris has tried to evict her and continues to try and withhold the home from her. Freida is seeking unspecified damages and the return of the home and wants the court to void the deed transfer.

[FONT=&quot]The drama between Bosh and his mother came to light last year when Freida was accused of running a drug operation out of the home. She claimed Chris was trying to have her evicted from the home before that and that she took on short-term tenants to help pay for legal bills to fight the eviction. Freida blamed one of the tenants for creating the drug issues.[/FONT]

i would think the first major purchase a pro athlete would make is to buy Mom a modest 3 bed 2 bath home putting 20% down to avoid PMI and deducting the interest for tax purposes as a “ gift”.

Not sure if people read the article other than assuming "black NBA player who grew up in ghetto who doesnt know his father kicks mom out of house".

Before we make a judgement on Bosh thinking he's a "dick" for kicking out his mom, lets keep in mind that Bosh's mom ran a drug trafficking operation out that SAME house that Bosh is kicking her out of.

But I get it, lets read the headlines but not the article

probably the most important part of the story was the fact that the house got raided for heroine and cocaine trafficking back in december. seems like if i were bosh id kick everyone out of that place as well regardless of who they are. bosh has a good name in the community and something like that could ruin all of his other business ventures. cant have a house in his name being used for trafficking drugs.
