Friday night comp play on the Indians and Astros to hold Under the total with Clevinger and Morton on the bump.

Mike Clevinger owns a 2.70 ERA for the season, as 5 of his 8 starts this season have seen him allow just 2 runs or less.

Charlie Morton counters with an ERA of 2.03 for the year, each of his last 3 starts, and 5 of his 8 overall this campaign holding Under the total.

The Astros enter on a 7-1-1 Under run their last 9, and the Under when they play the Indians is 2-1-1 the past 4 meetings.

This one shapes up to see plenty of goose eggs on that Minute Maid scoreboard tonight.

Cleveland-Houston Under the posted price.

My Bonus Play is the Angels in Anaheim tonight, as I like them to take care of the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Halos are battling in the American League West, and need to snap their three-game skid if they want to hold off third-place Seattle. The Angels are 2 1/2 games back of the Houston Astros. The Mariners are half-game back of second-place Anaheim.

The problem for the Angels has been playing at home. While they're 14-4 on the road, they're also 11-15 at home this season. They come off a 7-1 home loss to these Rays last night, and will be looking for revenge.

Take the Halos, as they'll bounce back to even the series at 1-1 and get back on the winning track.

My Bonus Play for Friday is on the Detroit Tigers against the Seattle Mariners, and I want you listing the scheduled starting pitchers: Michael Fulmer and Felix Hernandez.

I know we're in King Felix's house, but there is revenge to be had with this game.

Fulmer has looked comfortable with his pitches, it's his command that he's struggled with of late. The All-Star has given up 11 runs on nine hits over 10 innings in his last two starts. Five of his six runs came last Saturday, against these M’s came on two home runs.

The good side to it, he's recorded 12 strikeouts. Fulmer is capable of stifling just about any lineup, when he's on point.

Good news is, Hernandez was on the hill on Saturday, so that's where the revenge comes in. Fulmer will be up for this one.

Hernandez might be 5-3 right now, but he's sporting a career-high 5.66 ERA in his first nine starts.

Take the Tigers and list both.

Your Friday freebie is the Golden Knights.

When this series started, I was sure the Winnipeg Jets would be the team to represent the Western Conference in the Stanley Cup - and they still may be - but I overlooked one HUGE factor, and that was playoff experience between the pipes.

The Desert Flower aka Marc-Andre Fleury simply owns way more postseason experience than his counterpart Connor Hellebuyck. In fact Fleury could loan Hellebuyck one of his three rings, and not miss it. The first goal that the Winnipeg netminder allowed on Wednesday in the Jets 4-2 loss is inexcusable. To allow that soft of a goal that early in the contest and allow the already frenzied crowd into the game the way they were all night long tells me that I don't feel at all comfortable backing Hellebuyck and his team in this 4th game from T-Mobile Arena.

Vegas continues to impress, as Johnathan Marchessault netted 2 more in Game 3, including the game's first goal, and it's last on an empty-netter, and Fleury has shut things down with just 3 goals allowed in the last pair of Golden Knights wins.

The defense is lock-down, the offense continues to get the timely goals, and the home crowd knows it aide their expansion team along to another win.

I like the Knights to head back to Winnipeg up 3-1 in this best-of-seven series.

Vegas the play.

Anyone been following Jimmy Boyd lately? Had his package a few weeks back, and was pretty hot. Have lost track since the birth of my son. I do see he has a 5* GOM. TIA
