This is a great thing for most involved. It will create jobs and push the books to be more competitive.

Won't need to worry about your sportsbook going belly-up and losing your entire account.

Screw that offshore shit where my money seems to be in limbo, and since they have your money first (credit card info. license, etc.), they have you by the balls. Screw the bookies, as well, as I'd rather options and also be able to shop around for the best line or money line parlays; better options.

I'd rather take my money to any casino in the US and if I win, collect whenever I want without lame transfer fees or go through something like Draftkings (when it is up and running with regards to this new market).

I believe New Jersey took its first legal bet on June 14th.

About damn time!!!

My family has many friends in the industry and they are very pleased with the results. Now if we can just get the fools who run the State of California to get off their dead tails and gt some legislation on the November ballot, we will be in business for the Superbowl and all of next year.

This is moving faster than expected in some states. Just not hearing the progress that is being produced due to other chatter in the media. Wait until Aug then we will have an onslaught of news concerning the legalization of gambling in states across the country.

I hope you are right Drew because in California, the morons who run this state seem to be more interested in splitting the State into 3 States, leaving the Union all together, and other semi-socialistic things that have ruined the State to begin with. Brown and the Liberals have all but destroyed the Horse Racing industry because of the ridiculous taxes on property they charge.

HOW LONG TILL MOST PEOPLE GO BROKE????????????????????

Once sports betting is fully legal and mobile apps in place ; it will be the beginning of the end for most players who will not be able to handle it!

Just curious, isn't there a way to bet in Vegas from other cities now that it is legal? Over phone or internet? I mean, before there would be laws in place where you have to be there. other than having a nearby book you can go to, which I'm sure will eventually start happening. What about just US Sportbooks online of some sort? And will there be laws to make sure you get paid even if they go out of business? I guess you could just immediately pull out winnings but maybe some would leave it in an account to build a bankroll if betting small to start out. I don't know.
