3 years ago today i was at the Marlins vs Braves game. I saw Shelby Miller throw 8 and 2/3 of no hit ball. As a braves fan, i was excited. Yet not many people in my section (i was sitting in the boonies) had a clue that a no no was going on.

Have you ever been to a game where the pitcher threw a no no or a perfect game?

I havnt but one of my best friends first baseball game he ever attended was David cones perfect game. Just him and his dad. Loved the Yankees because of it and I can see why. First game ever and saw a perfect game. Fan for life and a special moment. He still talks about it almost every time we talk baseball.

Yes. I was present when Jose Jimenez beat Randy Johnson 1-0 and no hit the DBacks in 1999.

If I remember correctly, both pitchers were throwing no hitters deep into the game.

Just looked it up. June 25th, 1999. So a little over a week before the 4th of July.

Interesting thing is that both pitchers squared off 10 days later in St. Louis and Jimenez beat him 1-0 again. That would have been July 5th. So it could have been that game you remember as well.

Yeah, I saw a no-hitter back in the 70's when I had season tickets to the Atlanta Flames.
The Flames played the Chicago Blackhawks in the most boring sporting event I have ever
witnessed. You could have put a dozen eggs in each players uniform at the beginning of
the game...and at the end of the game NONE would have been broken.

My first NO HITTER...……….
