3-Unit Play. Take Under 8 Houston at Cleveland (7:15 p.m. Saturday, May 26)
Cleveland has struggled all season long to string together solid performances and they just can't seem to get into a rhythm. Fortunately for the Indians, no other team in the American League Central has been playing good baseball either as every team in the division has a record under .500. Facing Lance McCullers isn't going to help them as he has pitched very well for Houston this season. McCullers is 6-2 with a 3.20 ERA through 10 starts this season and he shut out the Indians over 7 innings on one hit while striking out 8 less than a week ago. Carlos Carrasco squared off and took the loss against McCullers but he has 24 strikeouts over his last three starts and I think he will be able to limit the Astros in this contest. Houston has taken the first two games of this series scoring 19 runs but I think this game will be a low scoring affair.

8-Unit Play: Take 921 Astros -110 over Indians (7:15 p.m., Saturday, May 26)
I'm backing the Astros on Saturday with McCullers over Carrasco. The Astros have had Cleveland's number this year winning four of the five meetings, including the last two as Houston has outscored the Indians 19-4. Cleveland is in first place in the AL Central only because it's the weakest division in the majors. Houston is 18-7 on the road and the Indians have the worst bullpen in the major leagues with a 6.23 ERA after last night's debacle. The Astros are on a 35-12 run and average 6.4 rpg against bullpens with an ERA of 4.7 or higher over the last two seasons. Lance McCullers Jr. is 6-2 and the Astros have won five of his last seven starts, including a 3-1 win over these Indians on Sunday when he pitched seven shutout innings on just one hit. McCullers has allowed more than two runs once his last seven starts and he hasn't allowed a home run since April 17. Cleveland has lost four of Carlos Carrasco's last five starts and the Indians have had trouble with the better teams this season as they have lost seven of their last eight versus teams with .600 or better winning percentages. And finally, The Indians struggle at the plate and Houston is 14-2 this season against opponents with a team batting average of .260 or less. Houston held the 16 teams to an average of 1.9 rpg (scoring 6.6 rpg themselves). We'll back the Houston Astros on Saturday. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.
