1 was 12,1973,dad took me to Norhville downs,bet $2 to win on a horse named Major Lucky with Frank O'mara in the bike from the 8 hole,he won,paid $52 to win,my life was over at that point,I just did not know it

Yes, Mark is a very good horsemen as well. much more like his father. Don't much about Dan, I believe he also traveled the circuit a few times.
I met Crystal when she was stabled in NY for the NY Sire Stakes circuit. This was early 80's

Yeah I remember going to the Playboy Casino playing their low limit tables during the day. I was mainly a Trump Plaza guy back then.
but did go to Caesars and the Golden Nugget ( when it was down at the end ) as well

Frank was a Great Horsemen.

Frank was also a world class drinker. He could really put it away. Keystone Accent was one of his fastest horses that would put in nasty breaks every once in awhile.

Don't remember the first bet. Remember where i was. Balmoral Park 1974 and lost all i brought with me. you would think that would have taught me a lesson. it didn't. i went back the first chance i got.

in 1974 it was a half mile then. Yes many memories for me. Had a few cheap claimers that raced there in the late 70's. Still a horse track, only now show horses.
