Thompson vs. Till
Super simple fight , stand up contest; will Till be able to get into the pocket and land shots hands or elbows on Thompson. Tills Muay Thai just put "Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone to shame. His strikes where so clean and technical, but he has not shown a lot of combinations. Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson" undefeated through 37 amateur and 57 professional kickboxing matches has more weapons but does not have the chin Till has. I see Thompson throwing a ton of legs kicks for most of this fight to stop till from cutting off the cage and getting Thompson to the cage. Will Thompson be able to get Tills timing before Till lands some bombs ? on the fence. A lot of better options waiting for the rest of the odds.

How does Thompson not have the chin Till has? If anything,Till’s chin hasn’t been tested like Wonderboy’s has...

Thompson has NEVER been Ko’d or stopped in ANY of his fights,MMA and Kickboxing. And,in those Kickboxing fights you speak of,he wasn’t even knocked down or given a standing 8 count,EVER...

I’m not trying to say Thompson thrashes Till with these statements, but to say Till has a better chin is just highly misleading,a younger chin, maybe, but that’s about it...

MANNY BERMUDEZ -220

Huge reverse line movement . Opened as a dog and hit this as soon as i saw it, lost of bad match-ups for the local fighters.

I just think that at 35 years old Stephen Thompsons' chin is less durable then Darren Till who is the younger. It was Stephen Thompson who advocates smart sparring: ‘Once You Lose That Chin, You Can’t Get It Back’ and I think that the two fights with Tyron Woodley took some toll. Thompsons submission skill are under rated ,the only weekness I see is having a weaker chin then till who has two Decision (unanimous) and a draw in his last three fights vs. not very good fighters. That does not inspire any confidence in me to wager as anything but entertainment.

Wonderboy going from -165 to even money in a day is the biggest steam line move I've seen 5 days before a fight.

That's some serious movement, wonder what is going w/ that? I think the most likely scenario is WB uses his striking to keep Till at bay and he wins a decision similar to the Masdival/Rory fights. I'll have to look into it more and try to get some clarity on the line movement but that's where I lean right now.

Woodley has all-time elite power at WW so not sure you can say Thompson's chin is suspect based on those fights. Nobody else has really been able to touch him in a little while either. Gotta hit him first and he is as elusive as they come.

I get the Till hype train and think he's got a hell of a career infront of him but this is a huge step up in competition.

Till destroys people. And wonderboy I don't like. Dudes a pussy for a pro fighter. I was surprised to see Till who won as a similar dog in his last fight and destroyed the guy, be listed around the same number again. It should be a pk em

Lol, he's a pussy? Hilarious. Would you make it 30 seconds with him in the ring?

He absolutely schooled Masvidal.... who has the same backwards ghetto mind you have.

He's got 5 UFC fights. 4 against nobody no-names. Then he faces Cerrone who puts a name on his resume... but Cerrone has been getting knocked out left and right by the neighbor and even the garbage man down the street.

Aside from Till's opening UFC match where he finished a guy, after that it was 3 decisions and then the cakewalk Cerrone.

This reminds me of the hype train of the Mexican fighter who fought .... wtf was his name? That guy from New Jersey or wherever..... and the Mexican fighter got absolutely destroyed.

Wonderboy just comes off absolutely schooling Masvidal, two wars with Woodley, a war with Rory.... and a little before that a TKO over Whittaker.
He is a tested and proven asset. Power of Till? I'd be extremely surprised if he blasted Wonderbread. Wondershit has no history of being blasted.... and Till aint a knock-out artist.

So where does Till end Wonderpants? On the ground? Wonderful has never been submitted and Till has submitted I think 2 guys ever.

This has OVER written all the fuck over it.

Likely home cooking to cater to home crowd and such.... but Wonderkick is a point artist. He can fight at distance and just take rounds with doing damage at distance, a la the Masvidal fight. Masvidal was cakewalk city.

How does Till win other than a decision? Really, the options for victory for Till are very smill... KO? No. Submission? No. Only via decision... and the way Wonderjab fights, it favors Wonderhook.

Fights is correctly set at 3.5 rounds O/U.

It really is amazing. He almost literally fought absolutely no one.

Take away Cerrone and Bojan, and there's absolutely nobody on his resume. And Bojan's not a big name but he's recognizable. Without Cerrone, it's like he's almost all smoke and promotion.

Maybe Wonderboy beats him and we can get Till vs Masvidal.

Lollollll. Well I just cap. And hes as a fighter. Of course hed whoop my ass. But yeah ima call him a bitch because I'm comparing him to other professional fighters. I heard his pre fight interview with Woodley. Dude sounded like he wanted to go home and tuck himself into bed. Maybe it was his personality, he doesn't like to talk shit or something. But he sounded like a bitch....then he got his ass whooped by Woodley that weekend.

I know he's got good reach and a chin but I'm not a fan

Date: Team:
May 27 NEIL MAGNY -565 (CRAIG WHITE vrs NEIL MAGNY)
May 27 ELIAS THEODOROU -400 (TREVOR SMITH vrs ELIAS THEODOROU)

Craig “The Thundercat” White has become the 86th Cage Warriors fighter to sign for the UFC by stepping in on 12 days’ notice to fight Neil Magny at UFC Liverpool. Magny (20-6-0) last fight was a win over a broken Carlos Condit who needs to retire. He has fought some of the best fighters in the UFC’s welterweight division, amassing wins over Kelvin Gastelum, Johny Hendricks and Hector Lombard.

Trevor Smith (15-7) put a 2-3 UFC start behind him to win three of his last four fights, including upsets of Joe Gigliotti and Chris Camozzi. Chris Camozzi is a shell of his former self, if I didn't think Trevor Smith was such a shitty punching bag i would have bet on him vs a wshed up fighter who does not give a shit anymore. Elias Theodorou went three rounds in both of his loses, and has an impressive win over Cezar Ferreira and four-time judo Olympian Dan Kelly. At 37 Trevor Smith career should have been over 5 years ago, “Hot Sauce” was forced out the UFC octagon after a hand injury forced the middleweight out of his UFC Fight Night 83 bout with Leonardo Augusto Guimaraes. Injury scrapped a planned bout with Ramazan Emeev, making this his first fight in 364 days.

Well, in that case, Camozzi was always washed up then because he went 9-10 in his stints in the UFC.

If he doesn't give a shit anymore, I don't know why he is the Main Event next month for ACB 88, against Thiago Silva, another ex-UFCer. Imagine that...

Trevor Smith may actually be a helluvit very small play for me. Pretty Boy Theodorou has been overrated since he stepped on the scene IMO,although he should be able to outpower Hot Sauce here, he's never a person who's a "lock" sorta speak, no matter the odds or who he's fighting...

Good luck and enjoy the fights. Looking forward to Bellator tmw night as well...

Till is very sloppy in this workout. I sure hope he plans to incorporate some leg kicks as well. He better hope he ends it in 2 or he's gonna get picked apart...I hope he tries to take Thompson down...

I was just pointing out who the dude was.

I'm thinking more and more the over is a slam dunk on this bitch, a la the Maia over. That was one of the easiest bets of the year.

Honestly, OVER 2.5 at big price is probably worth it. Just checked on the price and it is unbelievable!!

Sun 5/27
1055 Till / Thompson starts round 3 -192
3:30PM 1056 Fight won’t start round 3 +159

That is incredibly worth it. Start round 2 is -422

MM you aren't on WB at even money?

You're the biggest WB fan boy there is.
Biggest Wonderboy fan there is? Lmao! I just know where to put my money when the time comes. I’m no fan, personal friend and sparring partner growing up,yes,do not support his gym, however, nor was I a fan of his training camps until a few years ago...

But to answer your question, yep I’m on him at even money,it’s where the value is,he either gets caught early for his first KO loss,or he picks Till apart for an easy decision...I like the latter.

I will say this, though,I heard you mention the line drop and why. The foreigners are probably betting the house on Till, but more to me,it’s Thompsons thumbs. They’ve only been fully healed for a month now,and healed or not,are they really 100%? Can they handle the abuse of this fight? Thompson can’t KO Till with his hands I don’t think,if it comes,it will be by way of The Moneymaker combo that ends with a head kick...
