He was very happy with where the Warriors were after the first quarter, down 6

After the game, he was very happy with where the Warriors stand in this series, down 3-2 after losing 2 straight (maybe he knows CP3 is out :))

He's all smiling and happy and giddy about losing 2 straight and being down 3-2, kinda funny looking if you axe me

And he says the NFL owners telling their players they have to stand for the Anthem or stay in the locker room is incredibly stupid.

Does anyone know if he's losing his mind? Has he seen a doctor about this condition?

I can’t stand him.

Sits all game giggling like a school girl or complaining to the refs. Allows his team to complain about every single call during the game

Has 4 HOFs making him look awfully good

His stance on the anthem is fine.

And he's right about the state of the series to some extent. I think Golden State will be fine honestly. It's not an ideal situation, but in reality they could've (and probably should've) won both Games 4 and 5. They are the better of the two teams. I don't think it's gonna be easy, but they certainly can win this series and have a good shot at it.

The real acid test for Kerr will be to see how he responds now...everyone knows D'Antoni threw him a curve ball by playing great defense. Kerr needs to figure out an offensive game plan. He sure has the weapons....if they lose this series its his fault.

Geezus do you guys have short memories.

They are a juggernaut in large part because of Kerr. He's the one that introduced the passing and cutting, the ball movement and multiple passes per possession. The offense was a complete joke under Mark Jackson. Jackson's offense featured heavy isolation and little ball movement. It was Kerr that unlocked the explosive potential of this team.

Willie you're a conservative, so right away you're anti Kerr. Which is fine, but if you can't see what Kerr was referring to then perhaps its you that needs a doctor.

He was happy with how they were defending. He's happy knowing that despite being down 3-2 the last 2 games were very winnable, they aren't getting blown out or outclassed. These games are coming down to a play or 2 down the stretch. Cook shouldn't have taken that shot, CP3 was out of the play So yeah, he is fine with the situation. He's not happy they are down 3-2, don't be an idiot.

And yes, what the NFL did was incredibly stupid.

On the one hand gun zealots argue that its their right to bear arms, its in the constitution. Yet freedom of speech and expression is right there in the constitution also, but since it doesn't suit your agenda or that of your president lets pick and choose which amendments to observe.

The Warriors have gotten away from their identity, partially due to Iguodala being out. Iguodala knows how to space the floor, knows which pass to make as well as being an elite defender. They are running too many isolation plays, being baited into this by Houston putting a much smaller player (usually Paul or Gordon) on Durant. They run a second defender at him as soon as he spins into the lane, and will live with whatever happens. GS needs to get back to what they do best.

Houston is playing good defense, but the score is also lower because Houston is grinding clock and limiting possessions.

The Warriors will win by DD Saturday night, setting up a winner take all game in Houston. Why the fuck wouldn't Kerr feel good about that??

I'm sorry, smiling and laughing an acting giddy after losing two straight and then saying you're happy about where you are and how the team is playing is actually pretty stupid. You even tell us the Warriors have to make changes, but he's happy about how they're playing, so must think otherwise.

As for the NFL owners, each and every business owner should manage their business to avoid political statements and insulting a majority of Americans. The kneeling is bad for business, you stop it. They're not taking away anyone's rights, the players can do all the protesting they want on their own time AND NOT WHILE THEY'RE WORKING.

I suggest the FEW protesters try something productive on their own time, because pissing off people is not working. They're making matters worse. A good rule of thumb for ENTERTAINERS, STAY AWAY FROM POLITICS. SHUT UP AND SING

I have a strong feeling that last night's game was the dagger and the Warriors are too arrogant to recognize it.
Kerr is being outcoached by D'Antoni... I didn't expect to be typing that going into this series.

Have you told him the Anthem stance in the NBA is more stringent than in the NFL?

Yes, this is what Im seeing right now. The Warriors are too arrogant to recognize they are being outhustled, outcoached, outplayed. This whole attitude that "everything is fine" and "warriors are the better team" is just toxic. None of that means a damn thing until you show it on the court. The Rockets have the MVP, they have the #1 seed, they have home court advantage, they have the lead in the series. Unfortunately for me, I'm thinking the Warriors might be done. They are too tired from patting themselves on the back about how great they are.

Allows his team? The ENTIRE NBA does this. Things have changed drastically from the good ole days of basketball. NON-STOP BITCHING nowadays.

So he should be crying and acting like the season is doomed. Really?? Vegas still has them -130 to win the series.

Its actually not pretty stupid.

I said they are running too many isos thru Durant. Thats it. That's not "making changes". Its one small adjustment. Everyone talks about the Houston defense, but Houston isn't lighting it up either.

Again, I'll say it slowly. These games are being decided by a couple plays. When games are being decided by a play or 2 here and there, you've been to 3 straight Finals winning 2 of them, why would you not be confident that your guys can defend home court and win ONE game on the road??

You know whats stupid?? People like you, who don't have a clue about the psychology of this team or respect for what they have already accomplished, sitting behind your keyboard telling a 2X NBA championship head coach he's stupid.

He wasn't smiling, laughing, and feeling giddy. He was very matter of factly describing that he liked the way they were playing defense, said too many turnovers. Said if they settle down and clean that up they will be fine. And he's correct.

They will win Game 6 and go to Houston in a winner take all game 7. And you're saying he's stupid for not thinking his team can't win 1 road game. Yup. You're the brilliant one and he's an idiot.

To the guy thats says he cries all game....have you not seen Houston coaches and players crying after every call against them??

I agree with you that a coaches comments for media/public consumption are largely irrelevant, you're a 2x champ you're going to be confident but you really don't think Cook should take that 3?

If he's on the court, he has to take an open 3. Or else he shouldn't be on the court. Gordon did a good job staying on Klay and not rotating to him knowing that it would be by far the biggest shot of his life.

If CP3 is screwed then it's probably all moot and they're fine, but they really need Iguodala back in the worst way as their bench/roleplayers have been pretty bad and Houston is living off of targeting them on the defensive end. I thought Livingston would play in the 20's for minutes last night, a little surprised he didn't. Bell/Looney being able to play as well on the road was going to be a big leap.

People in this country don't understand the difference between patriotism and nationalism. Having the choice to stand/kneel for the anthem exemplifies patriotism.

No he shouldn't be crying, but he should acknowledge something has to change in order to win the series. He should behave like an adult.

Acting like a giddy teenage girl and talking like they don't have to be concerned about losing this series or about anything is pretty darn stupid IMO, a bad look for any man / leader. And the entire basketball universe knows something has to change too, including you

Love your strawman too, a classic

People in this country don't understand how to run a business. If there's certain behavior that reflects badly on that business and diminishes your product, each and every business owner would and should put an end to that behavior

Employees can choose to work elsewhere if they don't like it
