Hillary Clinton Wants to Be CEO of Facebook

The failed presidential candidate said that the social media platform is the largest source of news in the world, and she'd like to be in charge of it.

By NTK Staff|05.25.2018 @2:11pm

Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told Attorney General Maura Healey (D-MA) that she would like to be CEO of Facebook, while receiving the Radcliffe Award at Harvard on Friday.

“If you could be a CEO of any company right now, what would you choose?” Healey asked.

“Facebook,” Clinton quickly answered.

The former secretary of state explained that Facebook “is the biggest news platform in the world.”

“Most people in our country get their news, true or not, from Facebook,” she said. “It really is critical to our democracy that people get accurate information on which to make decisions.”

Apparently Clinton would like to be the one deciding the “accurate information” that Americans see.

Someone should tell her that there's a guy on Twitter who is informing a lot of people.

What version of accuracy does she want? Thought Facecrap was doing just fine with the “accurate” information they were already putting out.

she not qualified to be CEO of a lemonade stand, she won't a captive market that's forced to pay higher prices for an inferior product

stated differently, she's a career politician hence she's not worth 1 penny in the business world (except maybe to help abuse a corrupt system)

as for accuracy, she's even worse at that

Sometimes I crack up and sometimes I get pissed. Guess it depends on my mood. When other politicians, or the media pundits, or athletes, or Hollywood types, or people who are lucky someone provides a job for them - call Donald Trump an idiot. Question his intelligence. The guy has accomplished more in his lifetime and provided more jobs for people than all of hid critics put together.

And yet he is also accomplishing more in the political world than all his critic politicians put together.

Yea, Donald Trump is the idiot. Sure.

Facebook, Yahoo, MSNBC, CNN, GMA, network news, NYT, WP............ , what difference does it make?

Most people don't understand more than a 10 second soundbite or the headlines. That's one of the reasons the Headlines often times don't come close to reflecting the substance found in the story.

Winston Churchill called it 80 years ago, "the greatest argument against a democratic form of government is a 5 minute conversation with the average voter".

Just look at this forum for endless examples, the ignorance, the stupidity, the ignorance... , it's a microcosm of the real world. People have no idea about policy, they only know spin. How else can any liberal have the audacity to say "Republicans are angry". It's like they're totally oblivious to reality, or they think rioting and attacking and destroying property and shutting down conservative speakers is actually justified, they're that fucking stupid.

Republicans will never win the non taxpaying vote. They spot the democrats 47% and they still manage to be competitive.

When the leeches exceed the taxpayers, we're in deep shit. I'm beginning to think we have to fight for a Constitutional Amendment, we have to somehow be able to weigh the votes. Or maybe take away the vote from people who vote for a living. Never had a job?, never pay taxes? we'll house you, we'll feed you, we'll even put your 6 kids with 4 fathers through school, but you ain't gettn no fucking vote.

This is my greatest fear.

Constitutional amendment would take 2/3 votes in the House and Senate, or, a Constitutional convention called by 2/3 of State legislatures.

Don't see how either of those two can happen.

Now what?
