Great. I was already hard to cap sports but at least for the NFL unlike the NBA I could always count on a 100% effort for the most part from the players for every game. Now there's all these distractions and reasons for them to not play hard. Man I despise Kaepernick for starting this nonsense. What a piece of shit.

I'm for protesting. I'm especially for protesting against police violence but can't do it on the NFL's.

Definitely fake news after reading the article:

Should players choose to sit out it would almost have to be “star players” who do so, for the simple reason that they’re the only ones who could afford to do it. NFL teams can fine players up to $40,000 a day for missing camp, according to Pro Football Talk. Not to mention what the players might lose in endorsement money while protesting a policy that has a 53% approval rating.
