</header>UPDATE: Wildwood police say they've reassigned the officers in the video pending the outcome of an internal affairs investigation.

A video made its rounds on social media Saturday showing police officers wrestling a woman to the ground and punching her in the head at a beach in Wildwood.

The video shared on Twitter nearly 8,000 times begins when an officer has the woman pinned down and she is kicking her legs in the air. People in the background can be heard shouting "stop resisting," before the officer punches the woman in the head twice.
Another officer is seen trying to subdue the woman as well.

The woman who posted the video to Twitter said the incident happened shorty after 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Emily Weinman of Philadelphia posted the video on her Facebook page, saying she is underage and had alcohol on the beach when officers approached her.

In the post, since removed from public view, Weinman said she passed a breathalyzer test and afterwards, police followed her as she walked away to make a phone call.

"I asked them don't they have something better to do as cops than to stop people for underage drinking on the beach," the Facebook post reads, and that's when Weinman claims an officer said, "I was gonna let you go but now I'll write you up."

Weinman said she refused to give the officer her name and the officer threatened to arrest her. She said as she was backing away she tripped and fell, and an officer tackled her.

The Wildwood Police Department told NJ Advance Media on Sunday morning that there was no one available to comment on the incident until after the Memorial Day holiday.

In the Facebook post, Weinman that she should have given the officer her name, but she did not out of fear.

Calls to the Wildwood Mayor's office were not immediately returned as of Sunday morning. NJ Advance Media also reached out to Wildwood Commissioner Pete Byron about the incident. Byron declined to comment due the early stages of the incident investigation.

No big deal, she's white so it's not an issue! Cops could assault any white person and it's no biggie!! They executed Daniel Shaver and nothing happened!!

Dumb pieces of shit. It doesn't take 2 grown men to subdue a skinny, pretty little girl like that. They were clearly on a power trip. I swear many of these cops were picked on in high school and now taking it out on people.

''I was going to let you go but now I'm going to write you up'' What petty behavior. I'm sure she was a brat but those blows to the head were unnecessary and done out of spite.

Trash.

I see a bit of hypocrisy here. If a black guy resists arrest, it's rain the beating down. If it's a pretty girl and she resists arrest, then it's okay...

:think2:

Here's an idea. Don't resist arrest.

I have a feeling that on videos like this (Where most of what has happened is missing) we arent getting the WHOLE story.
