The crowd outside the arena watching the game in 90 degree temps was enormous. This isn't a long established NHL city. I have never seen that many people in Las Vegas congregate in one area unless it was a free concert, New Years Eve or someone like the late Evel Knievel jump over the fountains at Caesars. It's crazy for a city of that many transients to assemble to watch a game outside on a big screen.
