Green?

Thompson and Green are not there (yet)

These guys are part of a great offensive team, don't think they're even mentioned otherwise

My thoughts. Don't you kind of compare Green to Rodman? Is that a stretch?

If basketball ended today none of them would be deserving. Curry lol.

Durant is on his way at least.

[h=3]Was trying to figure out the 4 he is talking about. Durant, Curry, Thompson are probably 3 - who is the 4th? Here are David West career stats - in his prime, they are somewhat similar to Thompson scoring wise, but obviously with more rebounds. Although West only played in 2 ASG, where Thompson has already played in 4.

FYI - Curry has played in 5 ASG so far, and Durant 9. Draymond has played in 3.

When you get into the 3rd/4th guys on great teams, those guys have a pretty chance of going HOF if the run is really good.

And the HOF isn't based on just being 1 of the best players in the league. It's based on all sorts of other stuff like resume, longevity. You can easily get in if you are never a top 10 player in the league at a given time, tons of guys have.

When someone says "XYZ is a HOFer, ABC has 3 HOFers", it's basically just a euphemism for saying they're really good.

And Dennis Rodman is obviously a HOF caliber player as he was 1 of the best defensive forwards and rebounders of all time.

Do you think Green compares favorably to Rodman?

Green isn't really the best at anything besides maybe defensive versatility, but there is no stat for that so you probably aren't gonna make the HOF on it. I guess you could say his overall value on the court is around where Rodman's is.

But when you're the best or 1 of the best at something it's just kinda easier to get in. But he's a newer version of Rodman in the sense he can provide a ton of value w/o scoring, yes.

If Green got drafted to Orlando then how many positions he can guard wouldn't matter because the other 4 guys on the team aren't guarding anyone. And being a great passer for a forward wouldn't matter that much because he wouldn't be playing with 1 of the best scorers and 2 of the best shooters to ever play. And teams could play him to score way easier which is his weakness.

So obviously he lucked out to get to GS similar to how Tony Parker or James Worthy lucked out to get to their teams. He's good but ran good with circumstance.

Igoudala? Guy was an elite scorer in philly and now elite defender in the late stages of his career.

Igoudala?

He was underrated in Philly, made some really weak teams competitive. Even his 1 year in Denver, they won 57 games with a team that had no all-stars which is pretty rare in the NBA.

But he shouldn't get into the HOF. Then again, if they're just gonna let Mitch Richmond or Vince Carter get in then I guess all bets are off.

dwight howard is a sure fire hall of famer it looks like according to that table so then yes draymond and klay will likely get in. how is he above curry?
john wall ahead of both klay and draymond?
Lamarcus Aldridge more likely than Ginobili?

The table is just an accumulation of current career accomplishments. So guys with < 6-7 years are going to be pretty low on it.

I'd guess where it is flawed is it doesn't include international contributions. Ginobili will likely get in.

Steph and KD are locks.

Klay and Green will probably both be Hall of Famers, so long as the dynasty continues.

Iggy is probably not one.

Klay could carry a team in the east imo. Not past lebron but he's legit. Draymond the least of the four imo. Put him elsewhere and what would he do? Not much imo

Surprised Manu is only 20% given his non NBA career in addition to his NBA accomplishments
