If they have any chance in this sereis....they'll use him sparingly. Entire warriors team eyes light up when he is on the floor. Slow feet like ryan anderson. Auto switch andd he's on an island. Cavs need to use him sparingly as crazy as that sounds. They can't win it with him playing regular minutes. All he can do in this series to benefit cleveland is be a knockdown sharp shooter. But, Nance and clarkson have to both average double digits in this series.

They'll need his rebounding & for him to hit those 3's

Yea not sure what this guy is talking about? I bet Love pulls down over 10 rebounds tonight.

"All he can do to benefit Cleveland is be a knockdown sharp shooter"? LOL ok

Love is a big plus when healthy, he will help take a lot of pressure off LeBron.
The thing is, we do not know it he will be 100% himself, aggressive & in sync. That is the issue.
His D is not top notch but Cleveland is much better when he is in the game and playing to his capabilities.

Warriors abuse him on switches. Slow feet. Not sure what I am talking about? Play him sparingly is what I would do. I don't care how many all star appearances he has. Nance and clarkson are warrior killers from their Laker days. They have to be exceptional.

He is a liability on defense vs the warriors. They will switch to him in key situations every game. Rebounding is not considering defense. Sure he will get rebounds....so will tristian thompson. But tristian thompson can defend. There's a difference.

Kinda hard to rebound when you are 25feet from the basket lmao. Of course they wont switch every time to him. But in critical situations or when they want to put the game away... they will

So which is it? He's only going to help by sharp shooting or he's going to get rebounds also? I'm confused.

Without a huge series from Love and Korver, the Cavs have zero chance.

I agree with Mobdeeper,...Clarkson needs to play 20+ every game along with Nance.

If you think for them to have any chance in this series that he needs to be used sparingly then would you say a good bet would be if the Cavs win that their 2nd leading scorer will be Kevin Love or Jordan Clarkson? Or someone else over Kevin Love, insert anyone you want.

If you believe what you say, then the answer is Clarkson or the other player.

Leading scorers are misleading. Averages are misleading. A guy who averages 3 can come up with 15 in any game. Love could be the second leading scorer even if used sparingly because he is a very good shooter and has a decent enough game around the rim. I still think it depends on clarkson and nance and if george hill can do enough of a job on curry. Korver is just a 3 pt shooter. But Love needs to be great shooting the ball to really help the cavs because he will be picked on like curry got picked on vs Harden.

Cavs will call on anyone for more minutes if they think it gives them a chance imo. And less minutes for someone else... but Love is an all star. So we'll see

And lebron is the best rebounder. Cmon now. He lets Love have rebounds lol

You just said if they wanna win, he needs to be used sparingly. How is he gonna be the 2nd leading scorer if he is used sparingly?

I would say if the Cavs want to turn their slim chances into a victory he clearly needs to be their 2nd best offensive player.

Because he can get 18 in 26 minutes. That's why.

26 minutes isn't really sparingly. It's more than half the game. On average he plays 32-34 so it'd be a slight reduction.

And if he can get 18 in 26 minutes, he isn't playing 26 minutes. He's playing 32-35. Think that kinda goes w/o saying.
