Payrolls increased 223,000 following a revised 159,000 gain, Labor Department figures showed Friday. The median estimate of analysts surveyed by Bloomberg called for 190,000 jobs. Average hourly earnings increased 2.7 percent from a year earlier, more than projected, while the jobless rate fell to 3.8 percent from 3.9 percent to match April 2000 as the lowest since 1969.

But Mueller's investigation & Manafort's tax returns & sex with Stormy & the moon is made of swiss cheese (not provolone like some assholes think)

The only reason the OP misses all the really important stuff is because he's a selfish white supremacist who hates women, so there, take that

May’s jobs report shows that strong employment numbers mean little to the families hit with soaring new costs under the Republicans’ watch.

“Republicans’ cruel, cynical health care sabotage campaign is already spiking families’ premiums by double digits and pushing millions off their coverage, according to the nonpartisan CBO. Big Pharma continues to hoard the benefits of the GOP tax scam, using their handouts to further enrich executives and shareholders instead of lowering prescription drug costs for seniors and sick kids. At the same time, the President’s reckless policies are exploding gas prices, wiping out the few meager gains that some families should have received from the GOP tax scam, as wages remain stagnant.

“From day one, the White House and Republicans in Congress have sold out working and middle class families to further enrich the wealthy and big corporations shipping jobs overseas. Thanks to the massive windfall of the GOP tax scam, Wall Street and wealthy corporations are on track to spend $1 trillion on dividends and stock buybacks while simultaneously announcing tens of thousands of layoffs and shipping jobs overseas and refusing to raise workers’ wages.

“Democrats know that the American people deserve A Better Deal, with Better Jobs, Better Wages and a Better Future. We are committed to creating millions of new good-paying jobs and raising wages, lowering the soaring cost of living for families and giving every American the tools to succeed in the 21st Century economy. Democrats will never stop fighting for the hard-working middle class families who are the backbone of our nation.”

We all know Nancy Pelosi is a fucking idiot, but the truth is she really doesn't care about the truth and she's NOT speaking to the working middle class

She's talking to the fucking idiots of this world, thus she can say anything and they swallow and regurgitate

In all fairness I called the unemployment number a joke under Obama and I still feel the same way.
Labor participation is a much better indicator. Also I want to see a breakdown of those 223,000 new
jobs, Manufacturing vs. Retail, fast food etc. The 2.7 increase in earnings it super when you consider
the 8 years of stagnation we went through. All in all it's pretty fucking good news.

More good economic news....

The U.S. economy is expanding at a 4.8 percent annualized rate in the second quarter,
the Atlanta Federal Reserve’s GDPNow forecast model showed on Friday.

Jobs report raises GOP hopes for midterms, while worrying Dems

Trump’s job approval rating has picked up this year, and the once-substantial lead that Democrats had on the generic congressional ballot has shrunk.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll released Thursday showed Democrats with a narrow 2-point lead on the generic ballot.

“Without question it will be a significant determinant,” Republican pollster Whit Ayres said of the economy. “The job numbers are undeniably good news for Republicans.”

It really is amazing how "what team your on "drives perception. Things like the labor participation rate and the birth death have completely left the republicans vocabulary

https://www.bls.gov/web/empsit/cesbd.htm

( TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN THOUSAND (215,000) phantom jobs )

Last 6 out of 8 Jobs reports have all missed expectations, the last two, badly . so todays "beat", not unexpected, and its not like we created 300-400k

in fact ( and this is no way an endorsement of Obozos economic policy, anything that happened positive under his regime was despite anything that moron did) but to put Trumps jobs reports into context.

—first 16 months of Trump presidency: 185K—

last 16 months of Obama presidency: 215K

The economy is, well, the same.

We are stuck in stagflation, heading into recession as the Fed continues raising rates, and selling off their balance sheet

All for lowering taxes ( actually believe the income tax and the IRS should be abolished) but all this euphoria over these numbers and this great economic recovery is a myth

Does anyone remember what the Tea Party was created for ?

DT and the republican party are being set up . Trump because he is egomaniac has played right into the lefts hands, and capitalism, and the republican party will be blamed when the train goes off the rails, most likely in the fall

OMG, you just can't make this shit up, the author is an idiot.

The LPR crashed under Obama, it plummeted, literally masking a horrible job market. The LPR is constant under Trump, meaning if UE is decreasing it's because jobs are being created. Do Democrats comprehend simple math?

What was the Tea Party about? Why doesn't the author answer his own question. The Tea Party was about defeating Obamacare, curtailing the growth of government, fewer regulations. TRUMP IS A DREAM COME TRUE FOR THE TEA PARTY. Do Democrats really not understand that? Is that a serious question? How do you reason with such poppycock?

Why is consumer confidence soaring? Why is business confidence soaring? Why are companies moving into the USA as opposed to leaving?

This author, democrats, the resist resist resist movement are all intellectually dishonest to their very core. Although that's being very kind to this author, who's just another fucking idiot

THINK, because a mind is a terrible thing to waste
