He's about to swept by GS at home but all I read is excuses about how shitty his supporting cast is.

Didn't he hand pick the coach and encourage a Kyrie trade? Didn't he want T. Thompson signed long term and ask for the I Thomas trade?

He essentially runs the Cavs organization. Dan Gilbert has done everything LBJ wants him to do. LBJ's hand-picked team blows.

3-6 in the NBA finals is atrocious and this guy is compared to the great Michael Jefferey Jordan? Give me a break.

I think other people are saying that he has no supporting cast, not he himself. The fact is he doesn't, hes got nobody Kevin Love is a big body that's about it
Whereas the warriors have an all star team, it's not rocket science. Got in an argument about this with a guy at work, he was trying to tell me Jordan didnt have a cast either
No? Best all around player in Scottie Pippen, best rebounder Rodman, best three point shooter in history of the game, Steve Kerr. Compared to what Lebron has

Now whatever the reasons for his team not having anybody may be his fault or not, im just talking about what happens on the court

What do you mean by getting a pass?

ESPN has given him a pass, because they've realized talking about Lebron slightly helps their miserable ratings because he has so many fanbois and then people who dislike him hate watch them sucking him off. Also, Lebron is out spoken for ESPN's liberal whining, so that's another reason he gets a pass.

Getting a pass in that they aren't putting the blame on him as much as they should for putting this coaching staff and team together.

He's basicly taken every team he was a part of deep into the playoffs, and winning it several times.

What the hell is anyone asking for? Why didnt Kevin Druant want to sign with cleveland instead of the warriors? Cause he wanted a stacked deck and a ring.

Are you ready for the Durant/Jordan retard comparisons now?

Lebron didn't encourage a Kyrie trade. He called to tell them DON'T trade Kyrie even if he is pouting. He didn't want the trade. I think half the reason he went back to Cleveland was because of Kyrie and the fact they had leverage with a draft pick at the time. That I think they used to trade for Love.

Fact is Lebron still has never gone to a powerhouse team. Call it what you want. It looks and sounds like Lebron is gone. But if his past is any sign of the future....he will be talking to the 2nd best Free agent and lure him to wherever Lebron thinks is the appropriate destination. I don't think he just goes and joins a superteam. I don't see Houston.

Lebron, Wade, and Bosh were 3 of the top 5 PER players in the NBA the year before Lebron went to Miami, but he's never gone to a powerhouse team?

Come on, man.

To put that in perspective, imagine a team with Lebron, Giannis, and James Harden. Is that a super team?

Only Wade was there.... and they were 38-44 the year prior....so yeah not a powerhouse team already. It wasn't a powerhouse team until Lebron came lol. He hasn't joined a powerhouse team. Has he formed them? Yes. Cleveland was awful when he went back, but they formed a big 3.

Golden St was 73-9 when KD joined. Lol.

So if I understand your logic correctly, if Lebron, Anthony Davis, Durant, James Harden, and Chris Paul all decide to go to the Bulls next year, nobody is joining a super team b/c the Bulls sucked last year?

That is forming a superteam.. correct. Would be similar to what they did in Miami. The team wasn't already good. Lebron invented talking to FA's over the summer and getting guys to colab. But he doesn't just get up and say oh you know what that team is the best in the NBA....let me go join them. He doesn't do that like KD did. There is a difference.

When you add two top 5 PER players to a team with a top 5 PER player already, you know you are forming a super team and will have a cupcake path to the finals. Don't be dumb. Forming a super team, joining a super team, there's no difference.

He gets shit.

Pretty sad that he has 2 rings in Miami and 1 in Cleveland.

That pretty much sums it up.

Have you ever played a sport? Every team Lebron has gone to there has been a period of just "getting it."

I don't know if you read Pat Riley's excerpts for that book about Miami during those years. He said Lebron, Wade, and Bosh all came to him two weeks into the season complaining that this wasn't working. and how they wanted Pat Riley to coach instead of Spoltra.

The period of "just getting it" doesn't exist for a 73-9 team who adds the best scorer in the world. They already were formed. There already is chemistry and they know how to play. Add the best scorer and the only struggles they go through is when they are bored. Lebron, Wade, Bosh got thrashed in their first game ever vs a already formed big 3 in Boston. So if forming and joining has no difference, why were they struggling and doubting everything early?

It is because they have different meanings.

He has rings. He isn't ring chasing. He is looking to WIN. He can't do that in Cleveland right now vs Golden st. DUE to Kevin Durant JOINING one of the greatest teams of all time.

You want to talk about Ring chasing. That is Durant 100%

lebron is held to a standard of winning championships and the warriors as a team are held to the same standard. everyone else seems to get a pass but if lebron doesnt win a championship its a failed season.....which is a standard he created. nobody gives him a pass, he is likely the most criticized person in basketball. people are mad about his reaction to JR Smith in game 1.........thats how you should act when your teammate doesnt even know the score with 5 seconds to go.

If he's not ring chaser then he should stay in Cleveland.

He's leaving his home town again...lol
