Curious if New Jersey will offer larger bet limits than Delaware? Not that it will matter for me as Delaware is about my limit for travel.

The Meadowlands should be getting it as well, so that's probably closer for you

Meadowlands a lot closer.

Hop,skip & a jump.

I been working out at a retro in Paramus which is about 15 minutes from the Meadowlands.

NY now dragging their @ss, hopefully before Football starts

I'm concerned CT is going to have some legal issues. There's a dispute between the state and the Indians as to who can have sports books. The Indians say the state signed those rights over to them during the Lowell Weicker clusterfuck, and if the state allows them to open elsewhere the Indians don't have to share the revenues.

I haven't read the agreement, but i'd bet the Indians are right

many think I am racist, but never understood why Indians were allowed to open casinos anywhere. When the land was taken that was the way it was back then

I dont gamble at Indian establishments. Always found them to be shady. No casino control commission regulating them.

If anyone is going to Monmouth on Thursday please post limits and if their lines match the William Hill stores in Las Vegas. I'm curious if they shade Yankees, Mets and Phillies lines in NJ vs openers at William Hill outlets in Las Vegas. Someone in Las Vegas can get openers and report if NJ lines are different or same. William Hill can't pool Vegas, Delaware and NJ money. They have to be separate. I don't even know if they can pool intrastate money. For instance, should the Ocean Resort AC sportsbook have their profits cut into if a player hit a bunch of big parlays at Monmouth Park. Or does William Hill as operator just give a specific percentage to the casino or racetrack based on handle at each entity. It would be interesting to know if William Hill would have a different line at Monmouth vs AC. It all depends on who is taking the risk. At Delaware Park the COO was interviewed on radio and discussed what the casino and state would be earning from the handle. I really don't know this works outside the state of Nevada. When Leroy's was an operator the line moved at all outlets when someone made a large wager. They were leasing space in the casinos and gave a portion of their profits to the casino and they had none of the risk. That is same way it works today when William Hill took over Leroy's.

In PA gambling is legal but no sports book wants to open because of the high tax!

I guess I'll go to WV to try it out.

Yeah, the high license fee & tax rates in Pa won't allow casinos to jump on in like they should......& I'm thinking Pa won't gave it up & running this NFL season unless a sports book doesn't mind very little profit.
