it's camp season so Rivals puts out a new 2019 player ranking that is heavily influenced by how these kids look against one another in these premier camps. For the first time I can remember there is no QB rated as a 5-star either PRO or DUAL style.
previous #1 overall player, Crouch, dropped to #5 and CB Derek Stingley takes over the top spot moving up from 7th. No CB has ever been Rivals #1 overall in their final rankings
#2-3-4 remained the same and soon-to-be Bama commit, Clay Webb, hopped into the top 10.
UGA commit, Nolan Smith, with big jump to #11, and undecided safety, Daxton Hill gets a 5th star
Right not there are only 21 5-stars which is rare since it is usually around 31-35
the biggest droppers of the elite players were Oregon commit, Criddell with Okie commit, WR Arjei Henderson losing a star and dropping from 6th to 27th after some attitude and effort issues showed up in camps
The overall biggest mover was Ohio St WR recruit, Garrett Wilson, passing 49 other players
Alabama leads the way with 6 verbals from the Rivals 100 and Clemson surprisingly just ONE right now.
