A Staten Islander was so incensed at Robert De Niro’s “F–k Trump” statement at the Tony Awards that he smashed a cherished portrait of the actor from his role in “Goodfellas.”

Joseph DeVito pulled the De Niro picture off the wall in his hallway and dragged it out to the garbage pail before destroying it, frame and all, according to video obtained by SILive.

“This used to be my idol, I used to love this guy,” DeVito said while pulling the picture off the wall.

“But after what he did last night at the Tonys — this is where Robert goes.”

After placing the picture in the garbage pail DeVito reaches into a outdoor bin containing a variety of tools, gloves and a large rope before pulling out a hammer-like object.

“You’re a real piece of s-t,” DeVito says after smashing the glass to pieces. “Another Trump hater down.”

President Trump himself — fresh off a historic visit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un — took time to attack De Niro on Tuesday in a tweet as “very Low IQ” and “punch-drunk.”

Lol, I guess he sure showed Robert De Niro.....'s picture.

He'll be lucky to ever sniff Robert De Niro's shoes...smashing the portrait is the best he can do.

Interesting analogy, wonder how many times you've used it against people who bash Trump?

Rhetorical question of course

Of course entertainers should be concerned about alienating fans, because their entire life of excess was made possible by the fans. Entertainers are also egotistical and vein, they don't like being "unloved". This man, this fan, is just the tip of the iceberg. The growing problem is much deeper

Much like our media and the swamp creatures, respect for entertainers and their superficial existence is plummeting

Kind of an ironic statement don't you think since Trump is an "entertainer".

You fail to realize that it's not my job to defend Trump. This is the world wide web. I can do whatever the fuck I want haha. Somebody is free to bash De Niro and I'm free to bash him and he's free to bash me for bashing him and so it goes.

Having said that. I've also went off on that Definch guy or whatever for bashing Trump and maybe a couple others.

Rhetorical or not, I've answered your question.

Trump is a dream come true for me in the policy arena, and while many of his PR wounds are self inflicted, the left's endless crusade to destroy him and as they refuse to acknowledge significant progress he's made on several fronts is what's dividing this country more than anything

And Trump's success does not depend on fans

lol the media is only doing it because Trump gives them ridiculous shit to run with. I agree no president has been treated like this, but if you didn’t notice, we have never had a president like this before. Someone who is cool with promoting violence and racist tendencies, of course people are going to want to take him down lol, even publicly. That’s common sense , I don’t know why everyone is like those damn democrats... yeah well nobody has seen anything like this. Even a lot of republicans have refused to co-sign half the shit he says.

If Republicans are refusing to co-sign half the shit he says. Those are the people who could give him even more power and they are expected to back their own side, right? If I was a full blown republican and cared about this stupid side taking shit, I’d be angry at my own side for not backing our president. Not the people like Steve Kerr, Robert deniro , popovich. Those 3 people have been around, have voices, and seen a lot I am sure. Probably around your guys age. We’re more alike than different

Generally disagree with you but I have to say, you are correct here. The Dems and Repubs are one in the same .. globalist elitists. That is why they are all against Trump .. because he is for America and not for everyone else at the expense of America.

And that is why he will probably get re-elected.

Anyway, you got one right.
