I don't post much but, I am always lurking on here. When I find something that looks like great value, I want to contribute to the forum.

Tampa's starting pitcher today is Blake Snell and he is having a really good season to date. He is 8-3, ERA 2.30, WHIP 0.98. Also, Tampa has started to play good ball lately. They are 4-1 in their last 5 games. Not sure if Tampa will beat the Yankees today but, I found something I will bet on in today's game.

Snell has pitched 14 games this season. In 10 of those games, Tampa was winning the game in the First 5 innings, losing in 3 games and push in 1 game. Snell gives Tampa a great chance to be winning the game in the First 5 innings.

The Yanks are countering with Domingo German. He is 0-4, ERA 5.32, WHIP 1.27. German started 6 games and the Yanks were losing in the First 5 Innings in 4 of the games with 2 pushes.

I don't know if Tampa will win the game but, I feel strongly that they will be in it in the First 5 Innings.

Tampa +1/2 (-105) First 5 Innings

Good Luck today!

Hey T! I am a Steeler fan for sure but, the Pittsburgh Pirates are my favorite professional sports team. When I was growing up, they were winning 2 World Series, 1971 & 1979. We had Hall of Fame players. During the 1970's, the Pirates and the Big Red Machine were first or second in the division 8 out of the 10 years. It was a fun time to watch baseball and to this day I LOVE THE PIRATES!!!!!

This year when our bats are hot, the pitching is not. When the pitching is hot, the bats are not. We have a young team and it feels just like 2012 when we started to put things together for the playoff run from 2013 - 2015. I can see another similar run coming. During an interview earlier this year, Huntington finally admitted that they should have added to the 98 win team and made the mistake of not getting a couple of pieces to take the team over the top. I don't think they will make that same mistake again. If this team starts to gel, they will get us some help and then look out!!!

Good Luck today!!

Ever heard of Forbes Field, LOL. I've sat in the seats. I was at Three Rivers for the immaculate reception, made it to the '74/'75 Superbowls, Roberto Clemente was the man, etc, etc, etc. I gotta lotta stories about Pittsburgh sports.

Good luck Timmy!

I made it to Forbes Field twice as a Cub Scout!! LOL!! I saw Clemente get a ball hit into the right field corner, turn around and throw a ball to third base on a fly to nail a runner trying to go from first to third on the hit. BIG mistake!!
