Jul 07 FRANCIS NGANNOU -350 (DERRICK LEWIS vrs FRANCIS NGANNOU)
This is a big wager form me. Francis Ngannou (11-2) has power that you see once in a generation. After watching the Andrei Arlovski def. Tai Tuivasa and Curtis Blaydes def. Alistair Overeem fights both go the distance, there is no question in my mind Francis Ngannou is going to break Derrick Lewis (19-5, 1 NC) face and future in the ufc. Derrick Lewis looked bad in his last 2 fights, he just does not have the power of a top 10 heavyweight on the feet ... vs Marcin Tybura he looked sloppy and slow, before that vs 43 year old Mark Hunt he had cardio issues;Travis Browne (on the last shot on the ground, i thought Brown was dead) was a shell of his former self and dealing with personal issues before that he faught Shamil Abdurakhimov who was just another big heavyweight with out dated skills. The key to this fight is Ngannou stuffing the take downs of Derrick Lewis who does most of his damage on the ground. Francis Ngannou strength and speed will be too much for lewis. Stipe Miocic laid down the blueprint for how to beat Francis Ngannou, Derrick Lewis does not have the elusiveness and still got rocked once in the fight, and Stipe Miocic has been thru two wars with Junior dos Santos before his USADA violation.

Francis Ngannou is coming off his first loss after brutal KOs of two MMA legends, I feel he is going be focused and have more control of his power having time to think about his loss and refine his stand-up , he is getting the best training at the UFC Performance Institute, this is only his 13 fight; At the age of 22, Ngannou began training in boxing and has steamrolled now 6-1 in the UFC. He also has an impressive arm bar win over Anthony Hamilton. Francis Ngannou can touch another fighter with his gloves and knock them out. Lewis has been dealing with injuries, and lacking the motivation to go through the whole fight process for quite some time and Francis Ngannou is the worst match-up for him. Ngannou has the clear reach advantage and has youth along with no recent injury history on his side. Remember, Lewis was dealing with back issues and said he was retiring after the fight with Hunt. Derrick Lewis is a fighter who is fading and best days are over. Why wouldn’t Lewis take the fight to the ground, instead dodging bombs and risk getting KO’d back to a time before Martin Luther had a dream, I hope he does and he will pay for it.

I got Blessed torching Ortega. There's level to this shit.

I had Ortega losing to Edgar too though and he bounced his elbow off his face, but was surprised to see Holloway was only -170 vs Ortega. His striking is miles and miles better and Ortega isn't going to have the size advantage that he had vs Edgar. Ortega standup is pretty bad for a top 10 ranked guy in the division.

I think this is one of the most fascinating and intriguing fights, it could play out so many ways. Max Holloway ground and pound is scarry, the way he ended the José aldo fight raining down bombs, Aldo had been training with robert Garcia, I still question to this day why he didn't throw any leg kids in that fight what made McG so effective vs Holloway with the mixture of hands and kicks and then Conor McGregor dominated the wrestling. Holloway is simply one of the smartest fighters in MMA at 26 years old. Brian Ortega showed sick knock out power vs Frankie Edgar but up to that , its like a light switched on in that fight , KO Thiago Tavares and Clay Guida is expected for any top 5 guy.

As Good as Holloway ground and pound , will he want to enter the gard of a life long Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy student. I'm a hug fan of T-City , but i think the "light switch" from his DQ in 2014 is what is going to decide this fight , I think its what decides T.J. Dillashaw fights. Like Georges St-Pierre said "Even now with USADA, it’s still easy to cheat" in his fucked up English.
I expect huge money to come in on Holloway the day of the fight.

Don't think he will jump into guard or get anywhere close to Ortega on the ground.

Just pick him apart on his feet. I think it is as big of an edge in striking for a title fight that is actually going to take place standing up that I can remember. Probably would have to go back to when GSP would fight guys like Fitch, Koscheck, Shields and just box them up. Or McGregor's fight with Eddie Alvarez as well.

Jul 07 GOKHAN SAKI -145 (KHALIL ROUNTREE vrs GOKHAN SAKI)
I have to fade Khalil Rountree Jr , have not been impressed with him at all , his only weapon is his left and Gökhan Saki is too experience to lose to a one dimensional fighter who record is padded with KOs of Daniel Jolly and Paul Craig. Gökhan titles are too many to list , he went the distance with Rico Verhoeven and broke his arm in a fight with Alistair Overeem. Rountree has never seen a fighter with the footwork and combinations of Saki except on TV
Tyson Pedro beat Rountree in less then 1 min and we all saw what quick work Ovince Saint Preux made of Tyson Pedro. He trains out of Syndicate MMA i assume with Forrest Griffin, I don't see anyone there who can prepare him for Gökhans' kickboxing and fight IQ, most of Gökhans loses have come fighting heavy weights and super heavy weights, in his first fight in the UFC he was fed set up fight with Henrique da Silva after a long layoff. He is being put on the biggest card of the year to shine and end Khalil Rountree short run in the UFC.

Max Holloway withdraws from title fight vs. Brian Ortega with concussion-like symptoms. I knew something was weird with the line moving up on Ortega but no movement on the Holloway side. Fuck only thing that can save this is T.J. Dillashaw stepping in or maybe Zabit Magomedsharipov that dude is crazy , he will fight anyone, maybe José Aldo, Id put my money on Brian Ortega.
