Ronaldo to lead in goals scored +325 at Bodog! Kane and Lukaku scored all their goals vs teams that don't belong in the world cup. (If their opponents were in Europe they would never qualify) Ronaldo scored most of his goals vs a soccer powerhouse in Spain. Tomorrow he plays a country that doesn't belong. Should easily get one maybe two tomorrow.

As much as I love Ronaldo, Kane probably has a better shot because his team is expected to go farther hence more opportunities for him to score. I would want a better price on Ronaldo.

Portugal's group next faces group A, the weakest group in world cup history. Granted England's group faces group H the second weakest group. However beyond the round of 16 Portugal would face either group D or C, with only France on the horizon, while England's group would have to face group E or F, with the two soccer heavyweights Germany and Brazil on the horizon. Based on the groupings I think Portugal has a much easier road to the semis than England!

I hope so, I have a big wager on them at 25-1 to win it all. I just would like to see someone else from Portugal help out instead of Ronaldo having to do everything. They were lucky to draw vs Spain and did not look impressive in their next game.

It's a decent bet at those odds, but you have to realize that Portugal absolutely sucks right now. If they go far, it's due to great breaks.

Belgium is a scoring machine and they could go far. Costa is a beast and I expect Spain to go very far. He'd be my pick.

Also, Portugal plays Iran... and they will park the bus. I could honestly see them holding Portugal to zero goals.... and I don't know if Iran will score themselves.

Anyways, you need Ronaldo to go far.... but I'm afraid that's not on the menu. Love the price, though.

I am liking Diego Costa myself at this rate.

Spain was lucky too. Pepe was an idiot for faking which led to the first goal, and Moutinho's clearing attempt hits his own player William only to bounce right to Nacho for Spain's third goal and only lead of the game! Belgium, England and Portugal IMO are the second tier football powers, not in the same league as France, Spain, Brazil or Germany. I actually rate Belgium and Portugal slightly ahead of England. England is one of the most hyped squads ever! They haven't won squat since 66! No finals appearance in any major tournament, with only a couple of semi finals appearances in the Euro and World Cup in 96 and 90! Portugal always makes the semi's in the Euro, are the defending champs and made the world cup semi in 2006. I see them making another semi final this year, but obviously nothing is guaranteed. Good luck with your play!

at some point Iran MUST come forward, cannot park the bus. If they hold for 0-0 they knock themselves out of the cup. If anything they should be abnormally offensive as they know they are into knockout stage with a victory. Nobody fears Portugal enough to park a bus.... Morocco posted a "dangerous attacks" advantage of 82-26 against them ... 40-8 in first half, 42-18 in second half.

for golden boot at least you know Cristiano and Kane take their team's penalties, Lukaku does not. Costa usually does not take Spain's, Sergio Ramos does, and certainly Neymar will take Brazil penalties not Coutinho. Ramos has missed a lot of penalties in his career so if Costa is taking them this season he could be a good bet

Tired of being "Eddie Mush" from Bronx Tale!!! Christ the best player in the world, one of the best ever, (best finisher ever) can't score on a penalty vs a third tier goalkeeper!!! FUCK ME!!! That miss not only prevented Ronaldo from tying Kane, but now they have a much tougher road ahead. Could have been playing Russia (at least one maybe two goals for Ronaldo) now they're lucky if they score one!!

To be fair to Ronaldo it was an illegal save!! Goalie clearly ran off the line. Rule 14-1-3 requires that, “The opposing goalkeeper shall stand on the goal line, between the goal posts, until the ball is kicked. Lateral movement is allowed, but the goalkeeper is not permitted to come off the line by stepping or lunging forward until the ball is in play.

Should have been a re-kick but no such luck when Eddie Mush is betting!!

Both feet were clearly off the goal line!

Oh yeah pause at the 13 second mark, his left foot is about two yards off the goal line and his right foot is also off the line!!!

I gotta disagree. If you look at the start of the video the goalie is at least a yard behind the goal line! He's moving forward a second after Ronaldo starts his run! This is one of the worst violations you'll ever see. Just compare it to the Iranian penalty.
