Trump and Reagan are two Presidents hated by the press from day 1, both called stupid

The Democrats were all worshiped by the press, all three were "brilliant" men with lofty ideals

And my points are absolutely the truth, no embellishment what so ever

Nets

-57 % Trump
+22 % Obama
-6 % Bush 43
-1 % Clinton

that's a remarkable 79% difference between 0 & DT, yet they're equal in the polling

If Bush 41 and Reagan and Carter and Nixon and LBJ and JFK were all added to the mix, I'd wager the 5 democrats received the best coverage and the 5 republicans received the worst coverage

allow me to quote Walter Cronkite, who was known as the most trusted man in America, "of course we're biased (for liberals), because it's the right thing to do".

That quote right there represents the epitome of arrogance

interesting that as polarizing as both Trump and Obama are their job approval ratings for 1.5 years into first term are nearly identical to most of their recent predecessors

Trump 45%
Obama 46%
Clinton 46%
Reagan 45%
Carter 43%

All true but unfortunately the approval ratings didn't always translate into votes in the mid term. Since 1978 here is a breakdown:

Congress Senate
1978 Carter -15 -3
1982 Reagan -26 +1
1990 Daddy Bush -8 -1
1994 Clinton -52 -8
2002 W Bush +8 +2
2010 Obama -63 -6

Hoping he has GWB like numbers.

Only W seemed to buck the trend

Harvard/Harris Poll: Trump's Approval Up to 46 Percent

GetFile.aspx

President Donald Trump (LM Otero/AP)
By Brian Freeman | Monday, 03 December 2018 04:02 PM

President Donald Trump's approval rating rose to 46 percent from 44 percent in October, according to a Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll survey released exclusively to The Hill on Monday.

"Trump's numbers show an uptick as voters continue to give him credit on the economy and battling terrorism successfully," Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll co-director Mark Penn said. "His job approval and the basic numbers have been stable over the last few months."
Other results from the survey show:

  • 52 percent of registered voters believe the country is on the wrong track, while 40 percent believe it is headed in the right direction, and 8 percent are undecided.
  • 70 percent say the economy is strong today, but only 47 percent say it is on the right track, a slight decrease from the past two months.
  • The Republican Party's approval has slightly increased to 43 percent, but 57 percent still disapprove.
  • The Democratic Party's approval ratings have gone up since the November midterms to 46 percent, with 54 percent disapproving.
  • 67 percent of voters are satisfied with the outcome of the midterms. Among Democrats, 79 percent are happy, while 58 percent of Republicans are also content with the outcome of the midterms.
  • Only 33 percent of Democrats want House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to be House Speaker, while 67 percent prefer someone new.
The survey of 1,407 registered voters was conducted Nov. 27-28. As a representative online sample, it does not report a probability confidence interval.

I voted for Hillary, not because I liked her more as a person or her ideology. I just felt like she could at least get the job done, and gave her the nod because of her governmental experience. I felt like she was a "safer" pick, if that makes any sense.

I believed Trump would struggle as a president, but I was open to him proving me wrong. I figured we would see an aggressive tax cut, de-regulations, etc. etc that would lead to GDP growth and a booming stock market. None of that surprised me.

What I didn't expect was how small businesses would be able to grow and do well in a Trump economy. That was my main worry--that Trump's policies, while they would lead to overall growth, would create disparity that favored greedy corporations and stiff small businesses.

I've seen enough now to know that I was wrong about that. I wasn't really considering him in 2016, but he's done enough for me to give him very strong consideration in 2020.

The nonsense, the weird "unpresidential" vernacular he has never bothered me. People way too big of a deal about that shit. I just wanted to see what he could accomplish, and he has surpassed my expectations.

Where is your "off" switch? When I read this all I thought about was that Adam Sandler movie where he went back to school and he gave a long answer to a question then the teacher told him how dumb he made everyone else for having to listen to it...

This will not help you sell picks later on...nobody on here is going to buy "premium picks" from you or undersiege. Just knock it off.
