Standard betting ... using my picks.
2 unit win on top pick
1 unit exacta keybox top pick w/others (exotic boosters are only used underneath)
if any of the under picks are going off long, then they get a 2 unit win bet and are removed from exacta win slots

example ($1 unit), 3 horses selected ...
$2 win top pick
$1 exacta keybox (1/2,3)
$6 wagered

That is also my recommendation for any novice players looking to use my picks.

My top pick runs 1st/2nd a lot. I don't box ... just key. In my last 54 races posted before today we've had 26 winners (48%).
Kinda on a streak in June. Last 3 years posting here, seems June has been kind.

I'll bet many different ways besides this, depending .... I like .50 pick-3's (not $1 cuz I don't want taxes). I try and create a hedge opportunity any way I can. Yesterday, in Chack's last race, I made a few bucks on a losing race. That's a perfect win/win situation I'm looking for.
I'll play superfecta's when I love an exotic booster's chance to hit the board or fav to run off.
I very very rarely play trifecta, but I did play 1 tri last week at FL that hit. Before that I think the last one I played was the Kentucky Derby, that hit too.
So my extra-curricular betting varies.

$2 exacta key boxes cost $88 (44 combos) for the whole card .... already cashed $165.
That is why I recommend this to novice action players .... it's simple, cheap, and effective because my top pick IS my play.
There were 2 scratches .... so cost is less. 40 combos
