First off I think he either stays in Cleveland or goes to the Lakers.

Anyways, it took about 15 seasons of despising Lebron to finally start respecting him. I thought about it. This guy had so much pressure and scrutiny on him yet for the most part he avoided major scandals, didn't cheat on his partner, nothing. The worst thing he did which is basically nothing yet I hated him for it, was the whole spectacle he created when he chose to take his talents to South Beach. This guy's a saint! Lol.

I think the reason I hated him most was that people had the audacity to compare him to Jordan. He's no Jordan. I can't blame this on Lebron though. Especially this season he played like a beast and at his age to do what he did. Props.

I no longer hate Lebron James. Not that he or anybody cares but just saying.

Air Jordan is still the God of basketball though.

Man, Lebron James has taken a lot of heat. Haters need to give credit where it's due now. He's earned it. The drama he brings and the ego, well it can be overlooked. When you're that good and that filthy rich you are going to come with some ego and baggage. Hell, my idol Jordan, if he played his prime during this era of social media, the things we'd hear about him pushing around his own teammates, the bullying, the excessive gambling etc, I wonder how loved he would be (I'd still love him the same, he can do no wrong in my book, the guy was an intense warrior)

Lebron James has that look about him that he doesn't care what haters think. I say more power to him. I'm disappointed that he's not forming a super team to take down that bitchsnake Durant but at this point in his career I guess he can just play to play.

I'm pretty sure he's staying in Cleveland or going to L.A.

Kobe Bryant is an example of a guy i didnt like for a long time for being so egotistical.

But them LeBron James came along & he makes Kobe look innocent.

At least Bryant matured & mellowed with age.

I dont see that happening with LeBron James.

He is all about himself & always will be.

He didn't change to #23 as a tribute to Jordan.

He took the number on being a wise-azz thinking he is better & would eliminate Jordan as being the best ever to wear the number.

And of course you have his political views on top of being a jerk in general.

I have never despised an athlete as much as i do this guy.

Hope i dont offend any of you guys with that rant...

I think only way he would go to the Lakers is if Lonzo is traded.

Someone bring up the clips of Lavar talking about Lebrons kids and then lebrons response. He’s not going to the Lakers if lonzo is there. I don’t care what the odds are saying

I want to start this by stating that i am a HUGE fan of the Miami HEAT.

I LOVED Lebron's 4 years in Miami. It was just pure awesomeness!! It reminded me of being a Miami Hurricanes fan in the 80's.

I HATED Lebron for leaving Miami for no reason. It bothered me and i rooted against him in the finals and didnt want him to win a championship. I watched almost every minute of the NBA finals his first 2 years on the Cavs. Once he won the title, i didnt really care that much if he would win more or not. I didnt want him to win year 3 or year 4 on the cavs but i really didnt watch the finals much except when my kids wanted to watch (however i was rooting for the cavs to beat the celtics).

Lebron turned a lot of fans off since "the decision". He went about it the wrong way. Kinda like how Alex Rodriguez turned a lot of people off when he signed a crazy contract with the rangers. I said when Lebron went to the HEAT, Wade would be like Jeter (loved) and Lebron would be like Alex.

The one thing i can say about Lebron is that he plays his ass off. He plays hard and earns his paycheck.

There are saying that he doesnt cheat on his wife (none of us truly know that, it just hasnt been reported nor has there been a public scandal) and that he is a good father (good father meaning that he never left his kids).

At the end of the day, he is going to end up a billionaire. He'll get in the entertainment industry next and will be successful. Lebron has surrounded himself around good business people who he trusts and consults with.

As a HEAT fan, i think that there is a slight chance that he ends up in Miami (most likely he doesnt). For a lifestyle/next step perspective, the lakers are a logical choice for him (has a house there, good weather, hollywood, etc). For a "fun" perspective, i would like to see him on Houston with CP3 and Harden. Would be a fun team.

From a Hoops perspective, Boston is the best choice. U can flip Kyree, young guys, and draft picks for Kawai. However, i cant see Lebron play in Boston.

When Lebron retires, i think he'll be very successful in his "next life"

I love Kobe Bryant. One of my favorite athletes ever. But even he cheated on his wife which is what astounds me because Lebron is still more hated than Kobe lol. I'm guilty of being a huge fan of Kobe and hating Lebron throughout most of Lebron's career even though he has kept a relatively clean slate scandal wise. Spotless.

I do agree with you about him taking the number 23 as a wise azz and vindictive way of saying he's going to be the number 23 that people will always talk about as the greatest ever. As a way to delete Jordan but he failed miserably if that was indeed his motive. Very good point you brought up there Hache Man.

My point was just that, as much as I've hated him all these years, this year he won a little bit of my respect based purely on his performance at his age. Other than that I'm still not a fan. Man has this guy received a lot of hate though. But then if you think about it, he brings it on himself when he takes number 23 and keeps calling himself the best int he world. Even works that into his replies when losing, or after losing in a series. That's very pompous.

Again, what bothers me most and what made me hate him the most was the outrageous and farfetched claims his fans make that he's better than Jordan. And the suspicions of mine that Lebron also thinks he's better than Jordan.

Lebron has at times literally quit on his team. Part of his passive aggressive tendencies. So I have to disagree with you on the fact that he always competes hard. This season he blatantly stopped playing defense when he wanted Isaiah Thomas gone.

Having said that, his performance after the trades was pretty damn supernatural, especially in the playoffs. Still, thing about Jordan...and it always comes back to Air Jordan...he never quit during practice, nevermind regular season games.

I didn't catch that about Lavar. Interesting. I still think it's L.A or staying in Cleveland. Anywhere else it doesn't make sense for him or the team he would be joining. I can see them getting rid of Lonzo. I'm not sold on his jumpshot but man can that kid defend.

Jordan led the league in offense and defense in the same year. MVP and defensive player of the year. Something LeBitch could only dream of doing.

I never compared Lebron to Jordan as Jordan is GOAT and it’s not even close.

Lebron always wanted to be the next Magic/Dr J/Karl Malone

I really think Kahwi Leonard and/or Paul George in L.A with the Lakers is the best situation for him.

Lebron is about money and there's nothing wrong with that. I do think some part of him wants to end his career with some spectacular achievements (like win another ring or 2) to maybe have a shot in the argument/comparison with Jordan. Which I personally believe he'll never attain that level of success but he can certainly close the gap.

Does he want to play in the West though? It's tough there. Lol. He's always been smart and avoided that. Well now you have the Celtics with Kyrie coming back maybe he doesn't want any of that haha.

I would love to see Lebron play with Kahwi Leonard! Tell me this doesn't excite you guys. I want to see it. I want them to upset the Warriors with that bitch Durant.

So he's going to the Lakers! Guess he's done chasing rings or does he expect big trades again during the season to make them contenders?

In any case, going to be weird seeing him play in the West. Let's see how he handles playing against good teams and not being able to coast all season to make the playoffs.
