4-Unit Play. Take #225381 Columbia (-120) over Senegal (10 a.m., Thursday, June 28)
Columbia is the best side in this group, even though we have been big Senegal fans all tournament. Columbia lost their first match due to playing with 10-men for 87 minutes. Despite that disadvantage they were able to get an equalizer and play an even match for 70+ minutes. Following that loss they put on one of the most impressive performances of the tournament in their victory over Poland. Look for Columbia to control this match as well, despite a spirited effort from the Senegalese. As we said before, Columbia scored a goal with only 10-men versus Japan, so finding the back of the net a few times in this match won't be an issue. The technical ability from the Columbian side will be just too much here. This Columbian team has the ability to win this match and then make some noise in the knockout stages. Keep on eye on them. Lay the small juice here as Columbia wins pretty easily.

7-Unit Play. TEAM TOTAL, Columbia 'Over' 1.5 goals (-105)
***This is a wager on total goals scored by Columbia.
We see Columbia scoring two or more goals in this match. The top team in this group wins this match by scoring multiple times. Columbia has four total goals this tournament including (as we said above, one goal with only 10-men. Senegal has given up an average of 1.5 goals per match including the only goal that Poland has scored all tournament. This Columbian side has to win and they are going to push forward. They cannot just sit on a 1-0 lead and hope that Senegal doesn't score. Senegal has scored four goals this tournament and Columbia knows they have the ability to find the back of the net. Look for Columbia to score two or three times.
Best of Luck

Tunisia vs Panama 6/28/18 - World Cup Picks & Predictions

Tunisia vs. Panama
Soccer: 14:00 EST

TV: Fox Sports 1
Latest Odds : TUN -0.5 Total: 2.5

The two underdogs of Group G in the World Cup will now clash against one another, when Panama will take on Tunisia on Thursday. Both teams are coming off devastating losses against England and Belgium respectively, and have been eliminated. This is a fight to avoid the last spot of the group.

Panama were quite solid in their first half at a World Cup, as they held strong against Belgium. However, they were destroyed in the second half and eventually lost by 3-0. Panama didn't have much luck in their second match either, as England obliterated their defenses. They conceded 6 goals in the process, and 5 of them in the first half. Harry Kane scored a hattrick, and England were streaming but Panama managed to score a late goal to send their fans into celebration.

Tunisia could have had qualifying chances if they were placed in a different group. They were quite strong against England in the first match and only lost thanks to a late goal. But they suffered a bad loss against Belgium who dropped five goals on them. Even so, Tunisia managed to score twice against a side that has superstars in their every position. Tunisia will now have to fight with Panama in order to avoid the last spot. Even a draw here would be enough to make that happen.

Bonus Betting Pick: Over 2.5 Goals (-125)

I expect to see an open match between the two sides, as they will both play to impress. Of course they will be looking to avoid the final spot, but I bet they will have fun doing it.

Colombia vs. Senegal

Latest Odds : COL -0.5 Total: 2.5

There is a massive match coming our way on Thursday from Group H of the World Cup, when Senegal will lock horns against Colombia. Senegal have been undefeated against Japan and Poland so far, and are tied with Japan for the top spot of the group. Colombia are coming off a massive win against Poland, and got back inside the qualification chase.

Senegal did a great job against Poland in the first match, but did also require luck on their side. They were also pretty awesome in the second match against Japan, but were sadly stuck at a 2-2 draw. Senegal made a very strong start in the first half, and also took the lead at the 11th mintue wityh Sadio Mane. Japana pulled even at the 34th minute but Senegal took the lead once again at the 71st minute with Wague. Even so, Japana pulled right back just seven minutes later with Honda for the final 2-2.

Colombia could not avoid a 2-1 loss against Japan in the first match, as they played with one less player since the 3rd minute of that match. Even so, they showed some great resolve in that match. Colombia were not going to sulk about it when they entered the crucial match against Poland. It was a do or die match, and Colombia did. They killed Poland with three goals, strong defense, amazing offense and looking pretty solid all over. Colombia are now back in the qualifying chance, but they will require at least a draw and combination of results.

Bonus Betting Pick: Both Teams to Score (-112)

Colombia can also qualify with a win here and not care what happens in the other match. Senegal know that they will have to play massive defense against Radamel Falcao and James Rodriguez, and I expect to see a very physical match. There is a good chance we will see goals from both sides in what can easily turn into a goal-fest.

Poland vs Japan 6/28/18 - World Cup Picks & Predictions

Poland vs. Japan
Soccer: 10:00 EST
Jun. 28, 2018
TV: Fox Sports 1
Latest Odds : JAP +0.0 Total: 2.25

Poland have easily been the weakest European side in the World Cup, and they have already been eliminated. Maybe their first loss to Senegal was unlucky, but their second loss to Colombia was the real deal. They will now play their final match against a surprising Japanese side who are undefeated and very much in the chase of a qualifying spot.

Japan did an excellent job in the first match against Colombia, as they took advantage of the situation and won by 2-1. With 3 points in the bag, they were clashing against the other winners of the group, Senegal. Senegal were really pressuring them, and took the lead twice. However, Japan found the strength to answer to both goals, as the two teams split the points in a 2-2 draw. Japan are now sitting at the top of the group with 4 points, just as many as Senegal.

On the other hand, Poland were surely very unlucky in their first match against Senegal, where they lost by 2-1. However, they were even worse against Colombia in Game 2, where they were blasted by a tough 3-0. Nothing worked for Poland on the offense, while their defense was exposed on numerous occasions. Poland are now eliminated with two losses, and will just play for pride.

Bonus Betting Pick: Over 2.25 Goals (-120)

Japan are highly interested in at least a point from this match, as they would be in danger if the other match ends in a draw. Poland might actually have an advantage against the undersized Japanese squad. However, Japan also have an advantage themselves, as their fast forwards and wingers will surely cause problems to a much slower Polish defense.

England vs Belgium 6/28/18 - World Cup Picks & Predictions
Posted on 27 June 2018 by Paul

England vs. Belgium
Soccer: 14:00 EST
Jun. 28, 2018
TV: Telemundo
Latest Odds : ENG +0.0 Total: 2.25

England recorded a massive win against Panama in Game 2 and easily moved on to the next round of the World Cup. They will now clash against Belgium on Thursday, as the two teams will fight for the top spot of the group. Belgium are also coming off a strong win as they dropped five on Tunisia.

England weren't very convincing against Tunisia in Game 1 but they did get a win. However, they were looking to get a confidence boost from their second match, when they clashed against Panama. Harry Kane wreaked havoc on the opposing defense with a hattrick by the 62nd minute, as England destroyed them by a massive 1-6. Defender John Stones also scored twice himself while Jesse Lingard had also scored in the first half.

On the other hand, Belgium are coming off a pretty similar peformance, as they destroyed Tunisia by 2-5. Eden Hazard took the lead at the 6th minute from the penalty spot, while Romelu Lukaku scored twice as the first half ended at 1-3. Hazard and Batshuayi each scored once in the second half before Khazri scored for Tunisia for the final 2-5. Belgium have a better roster than England, but not as big a name.

Bonus Betting Pick: Over 2.25 Goals (-114)

Both teams conceded goals in their previous matches, and against much weaker sides too. However, they were both winning by much by the time that happened. But it still might raise some questions. In any case, the talent in both teams is just staggering, so I will go with the Over 2.25 Goals here.

Ottawa RedBlacks vs. Calgary Stampeders Preview and Predictions 06-28-2018

CFL Previews 25th June 2018 by Gracenote
by Gracenote on 06/25/2018

The Calgary Stampeders look to continue their winning ways when they host the Ottawa Redblacks on Thursday. The Stampeders opened the season with back-to-back victories, including 41-7 against the Toronto Argonauts on Saturday in a rematch of the 2017 Grey Cup, and hope to set the early pace in the West Division by improving to 3-0 for the first time since 2014.

Calgary has won seven straight regular-season meetings with East Division teams and aims for its fifth consecutive home victory against the Redblacks after outscoring Ottawa 177-82 over its previous four matchups at McMahon Stadium. The Redblacks opened up the new campaign in impressive fashion by routing the Saskatchewan Roughriders 40-17 after not playing in Week 1. Trevor Harris showed no ill effects from the leg injury he sustained in the preseason as he threw for 345 yards against Saskatchewan and hopes to lead Ottawa to its first regular-season win against Calgary since July 24, 2015. "It's a great win but we've long forgot about that and it's on to Week 2 against the class of the league over the past half-decade," Harris told reporters. "We're just excited about the challenge to go to Calgary and see how we stack up against one of the top teams in the league."

TV: 9 p.m. ET, TSN

ABOUT THE REDBLACKS (1-0): Harris completed 26-of-36 passes with a pair of touchdown tosses and William Powell helped to keep Saskatchewan's pass rush honest by gaining 118 yards from scrimmage to go along with two TDs. "It feels great to get off to a good start," Powell told reporters. "We feel like we have a good team and we're confident of each guy we have in this room." Greg Ellingson, who led Ottawa in receptions (96) and receiving yards (1,459) last season, continued where he left off as he caught eight passes for 104 yards while Diontae Spencer added a touchdown catch against the Roughriders.
ABOUT THE STAMPEDERS (2-0): Bo Levi Mitchell had a night to remember as he set a career-best completion percentage by going 20-of-22 through the air for 324 yards and three touchdowns against the Argonauts. Eric Rogers had his most productive game since returning to the CFL following a two-year stint in the NFL as he hauled in five passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns while rookie running back Don Jackson racked up 123 rushing yards on nine carries. Wide receiver Marken Michel sat out the win over Toronto after suffering an ankle injury in the season opener against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and is questionable for Thursday's clash.

EXTRA POINTS

1. Calgary and Ottawa have played out two ties in their last four regular-season meetings.

2. Powell has recorded four touchdowns in his last two regular-season contests.

3. Mitchell is 27-3-2 in his career against East Division foes.

PREDICTION: Stampeders 35, Redblacks 30

Thursday's Diamond Notes

Hottest team: Reds (9-1, +1010 last 10)

Cincinnati used a three-run seventh inning in yesterday's 6-5 win over Atlanta, capitalizing on a huge error and going ahead on a huge 2-run single from Adam Duvall to win a third consecutive series. No team has more wins than Cincinnati over their last 10 games and

Jim Riggleman has managed the Reds to a 31-31 mark since taking over for Bryan Price and has seen his offense score at least five runs in every one of their victories on this run. Cincy hasn't been shut out since May 19. The Brewers come into Great American Ballpark on top of the Central Division and have won five straight in this series after losing the first meeting of the season. Anthony DeSclafani, who has won three straight starts and helped his own cause with a grand slam against the Cubs will be opposed by Milwaukee's Junior Guerra. C

Coldest team: Tigers (0-8 last 8)

After squandering a 6-0 lead against the A's in a 9-7 loss on Tuesday, Detroit failed to even score in managing just three hits against Chris Bassitt and two relievers. The Tigers have been outscored 57-21 during this season-long stretch of defeats.

The Tigers hit lefties pretty well and will look to spoil a nice run from Oakland southpaw Sean Manaea, who is 2-0 with a 2.81 ERA this month. Ace Michael Fulmer has Detroit as a pick'em (+100) and has a rested arm after getting seven days of rest since his last start. He's 2-0 against the A's in his career, allowing a single run in 15.2 innings. Each of the Tigers' losses has come as an underdog. They fired pitching coach Chris Bosio on Wednesday as their nightmare of a season continued.

Hottest pitcher: Aaron Nola, Phillies (9-2, 2.58 ERA)

The Phillies took two of three in D.C. over the weekend and will look for more success against the NL East rival Nats as they send their ace to the hill. He allowed just two runs in six innings against Washington on Saturday and is 8-1 since mid-April. Nola has been fantastic at home, sporting a 6-0 record with a 1.86 ERA at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies are a -145 favorite in Game 1 of this four-game series.

Coldest pitcher: Jake Odorizzi, Twins (3-5, 4.97 ERA)

Although the over didn't get there for the Twins and White Sox on Wednesday, look for Chicago to snap out of its funk. Odorizzi has an ERA near 5.00 and often loses focus. He'll face fewer Minnesota standouts to help prepare him for the postseason.

Biggest OVER run: Cubs (5-1 last six)

Catcher Willson Contreras homered and drove in three runs, but the early lead he helped the Cubs gain didn't hold up as L.A. used the long ball to pull away for a 7-5 win. Chicago pitching has allowed six or more runs in five of seven games, a run they're hoping Jose Quintana can end. The Colombian lefty has history on his side, having allowed no runs in 14 career innings against the Dodgers. Clayton Kershaw, who returned from the DL on Saturday, will pitch for L.A. This total has been set at 7.5.

Biggest UNDER run: Rays (11-3 last 14)

Following a day off to prepare for the defending champs, the Rays (5-0, +750 last 5, 7-2, +980 last 9) will look for a third straight shutout as they said Ryne Stanek out to open another game they plan on tackling with a bullpen-by-committee approach. Tampa Bay pitching has allowed one or fewer runs in eight of its last 14 games, fueling a profitable run if you've been riding the low-side in Rays games. Tampa native Lance McCullers, Jr. will pitch for the Astros and is in great form but is 0-2 with an ERA of 6.00 at Tropicana Field. This total has been set at 7.5.

Matchup to watch: Red Sox vs. Angels

Only Detroit has a longer losing streak than the Halos, who gave up a six-run second inning on Wednesday, tied things up in the seventh and immediately fell behind Boston again. If they're swept here, the Angels will fall back to .500 and reach a new season-low in losing a sixth straight. L.A. is 4-12 over its last 16 games.

The Red Sox moved back ahead of the Yankees by a half-game in the AL East and tied Houston atop baseball with 54 wins. A sweep would be their first since May 28-30 and be the perfect springboard entering this weekend's huge three-game set in the Bronx against the idle Yankees, who are hoping an Angels assist will help even up the division entering Friday night's series opener.

Boston will send lefty reliever Brian Johnson (1-2, 4.50) out there for his second start of the season due to knuckleballer Stephen Wright landing on the disabled list. Johnson, a former first-round pick, has a 3-1 mark as a major league starter in seven outings. Angels hitters are just 2-for-15 against him. He should get run support given that J.D. Martinez has been so hot this month, batting .356 with seven of his 25 homers and 17 of his 64 RBI.

Angels rookie Jaime Barria (5-3, 3.40) will be squaring off against Boston for the first time and is looking to snap a personal two-game losing streak after walking a career-worst four hitters in Saturday's 4-1 loss to Toronto. Following Boston's 9-6 win, the Sox have won all five meetings against the Angels this season, outscoring them 45-10.

Betcha didn’t know: The Orioles send Jimmy Yacabonis (0-0, 15.34) to the mound in place of the injured Dylan Bundy. It will be his first major league start after surrendering four runs in two relief appearances this season. Although he came up last month and made 14 career appearances out of the 'pen last season, he's been working as a starter after serving as a closer in the minors in the past. Yacobonis has only pitched more than two innings once in the bigs but is 3-0 with a 1.27 ERA over his last six starts with Triple-A Norfolk, emerging as an International League All-Star. He's only faced one current Mariners hitter, Denard Span, who drew a walk.

Biggest public favorite: Mariners (-140) at Orioles

Biggest public underdog: Rockies (+100) vs. Giants

Biggest line move: Angels (+138 to +115) at Red Sox
