Getting back into it with some bases. This sport is tough to handicap night in and night out, so treading lightly.

1. CIN/MIL UNDER 10 -110 (LISTED) - 330/300

Romano has been much improved in last 3, with 2.70 ERA and 1.10 WHIP
Anderson WHIP last 3 under 1.00
Brewers hitting .229 against RHP Last 10 averaging 4.7 runs
Cain on DL, Yelich out tonight

10 is a big number, a majority of stats pointing under.

2. KC +183 (LISTED) - 200/366

Seattle is much better overall team, but this matchup favors KC in my opinion.

Kennedy in much better form than Gonzalez (3.00 ERA last 3 vs 7.27)
Mariner bullpen in shambles lately 6.11 ERA last 10
Mariners players only hitting a combined .179 lifetime vs Kennedy
Royals players hitting .471 vs Gonzalez (only 19 AB, but still good numbers)

Worth a shot at this number

3. LA ANGELS -156 - 156/100

Big number for road favorite, but Hess is a total gas can, especially lately with an ERA of over 11. Rest of stats pretty even last 10, and neither team coming in playing well.

Leans but no plays:

COL +142
COL/LA OVER 8 -105
NYY/BOS UNDER 9.5 -110

1-1-1 -100

That is why baseball is so tough. 6 run 9th inning in Brew/Red game causes a sure winner to turn into a push.

TODAY:

PITTSBURGH +112 Over San Diego - 400/448 (Listed)

- Williams in better form than Luchesi lately, as Luchesi coming back down to earth (5.91 ERA last 3)
- Pirates slightly better vs LHP than RHP, but lately have been much better, nearly 1R per game last 10
- Padres hitting down against RHP last 10, only scoring 2.7 RPG and hitting .220
- Pirates big advantage in pen lately, nearly 3 ER better L 10
- Pirates have never seen Luchesi, and Pads are mixed vs Williams lifetime so no advantage there

MILWAUKEE/CINCINNATI UNDER 9.5 -105 - 210/100

Back to the well. Brew may be without Yelich, Braun and Cain tonight.

- Both pitchers have been good this year, Chacin in good form, Mahle slightly underperforming lately
- Both teams hitting .230 or less L 10 vs RHP
- Bullpens are both sub 2.50 ERA L 10 (despite meltdown last night late)
- Keeping me from bigger play is both lineups have seen some success against other starter

MIAMI +149 Over NY Mets (LISTED)

DeGrom usually not one to mess with, and he is in good form. But price is right here to me.

- Mets have been terrible lately, and with recent struggle, Marlins are better statistically hitting and bullpen overall, and definitely lately
- Mets have not seen Lopez, and Marlins have a few hitters that have had success against DeGrom.

ANGELS/ORIOLES UNDER 9.5 +100 - 100/100

- Cashner and Skaggs in good form lately, especially Skaggs with sub 1 ERA last 3.
- Orioles do hit lefties better than righties, but 230 BA and less than 3 runs a game overall is really bad
- Lately is not much better for O's either (.220 BA and 2.65 RPG)
- Angels are hitting poorly lately too (.230 BA vs RHP)
- Bullpens somewhat shaky, but both SP have done well against other lineups, (O's lineup 0-10 vs Skaggs, Angels .213 BA and sub .600 OPS vs Cashner)

LEANS:

COL +155 - Rocks are playing better baseball, despite being outmatched in SP today
OAK +110 - Like A's at home playing slightly better lately with even SP matchup
