this is just fun. i took vance joseph cause i think he probably should be fired and the broncos arent a great team. case keenum isnt very good imo and i think the blame falls on the coach before the qb in denver.

4 probably should be fired already but predicting the first should be fun. god i miss football. the nba is annoying during the season but right now its just awful. Cant turn on sports without nba free agency talk and opinions. its unbearable. Cant wait til the fall

only reason i think hugh jackson stays longer than someone else on the list is the abilty to change qb and buy himself a few weeks. i think if they start out bad, and they do have talent so could have some early success, he can switch to mayfield and get a few more weeks of time. i dont think vance joseph has that luxury. if it goes bad with Keenum they will make changes at coach before they change qb.

Get down on Dirk Koetter while you still can. Jameis misses the first 3 games (all against playoff teams from last season), next they travel to play a vastly improved Chicago team. After a potential 0-4 start they have a bye week(fire him now?), or wait until after the next game when they lose to the Falcons on the road. Bucs could be staring at an 0-5 start and you'd have to think they consider dumping him at that point should it play out like that.

1 tool to look at is when is the team's bye week as many coaches who get fired in season get fired right before their bye week.

For a long shot, I like Pete Carroll. Its been a crazy off season in Seattle and if the seahawks dont have a good start, he could just say "F this" and leave. He's left teams before, made enough money, getting up there in years, and can easily have a studio job for either the NFL or NCAA

Only a few weeks to go......

Fitzmagic is due for a good start to the season to get another juicy contract. No real drop off from Jaemis.

If Browns wanted to fire Hue they would have done it before now. And he has jumped in the lake already. Don't expect Taylor to gift teams wins ala Kizer.

Denver should be OK with slightly above average QB play compared to the sub-optimal QB play they have had for what seems like forever. Elway was probably the last decent one they've had. If they can win with Cutler, Plummer, Tebow, Orton and bad neck Manning they should be fine with Keenum.

Even BOB will be able to win with a healthy Watson.

The State of Ohio continues to employ the two worst Head Coaches in football. I think many of us may know why. Whatever the reason is, those teams will go nowhere this season. The two of them should be fired after week 1. Denver is finishing last in the AFC West. Elway should fire Elway and Joseph. Koetter keeps inventing ways to lose games.

Hue Jackson coaches a team that goes through quarterbacks like John Daily goes through
cigarettes. Tyrod Taylor will be Cleveland's 29th starting QB since 1999. Baker Mayfield will
be number 30 after he takes over for Taylor during the season.
