Newly unearthed reports from socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's past show that the progressive political candidate had very different views on taxes when she used to run a business.
Ocasio-Cortez, who is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, has campaigned on expanding big government welfare programs through raising taxes on businesses and wealthy Americans.
Now that she is in the political spotlight, many of Ocasio-Cortez's previous views are coming to light, particularly those surrounding raising taxes, since much of her platform revolves around taking more of people's hard-earned money and giving it to those who did not earn it. The Daily Caller News Foundation reports:

But Ocasio-Cortez appeared to have a different outlook on capitalism and taxes in 2012 when she was running a business of her own, Brook Avenue Press, an incorporated publishing firm for children’s books set in the Bronx. As a business owner, she came out in support of a bill that would provide tax deductions for business start-up costs, arguing that taxes directly impacted her business profits.
Ocasio-Cortez complained about the burden that taxes put on her business in a 2012 news article, saying, "You don’t really make a profit in your first year," later adding that getting taxed was "a real whammy."
Ocasio-Cortez also used to tweet out articles and quotes from entrepreneur and venture capitalist Paul Graham:

The DCNF also notes that Ocasio-Cortez was a member of a business organization that attracted numerous entrepreneurs and gave talks on entrepreneurship at Boston University where she praised free market enterprise.

Now, with a $174,000 salary in her sights, Ocasio-Cortez is championing views that conflict with that entrepreneurial spirit she formerly promoted mainly centered around the government providing for its citizens.

One thing consistent about people wanting to increase taxes, they always want to increase other peoples' taxes

she's also getting destroyed about running on a platform of being a "Bronx girl" that lived a tough life with an extended family of Bronx-based immigrants when, in fact, she moved out of the Bronx at THE AGE OF TWO and grew up in an affluent suburb in Westchester County. The house she grew up in sold a few years ago for 355k and she went through the Yorktown school system, not the Bronx school system despite campaigning on reforming Bronx schools that she saw first hand.

basically nobody thought she could win so folks paid no attention to her lies...they just wanted to vote out the incumbent and are now stuck with a radical socialist Millenial who lied to get what she wanted

pretty funny response to the Millenial Socialist. She's going to campaign on programs that are already in place and think she's changing the world? face)(*^% Her platform is:

Social Security
Medicare
Free K-12 education
Federally mandated minimum wage

this woman is scary.... It's like campaigning that the worst team in NFL should get the 1st draft pick and that they should play an even number of home and road games

HOOVER: Of course, the dynamic there in terms of geopolitics and — [crosstalk]

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Of course —

HOOVER: — are ver different than people expressing their First Amendment rights.

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Well, yes, but I also think that what people are starting to see, at least in the occupation of Palestine, is just an increasing crisis of humanitarian conditions. And that to me is just where I tend to come from on this issue.

HOOVER: You use the term “the occupation of Palestine”? What did you mean by that?

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Oh! Um … I think what I meant is like the settlements that are increasing in some of these places where, um … where Palestinians are experiencing, uh, difficulty in access to their housing and homes.

HOOVER: Do you think you can expand on that?

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Yeah, I think I’d also just — I am not the expert on geopolitics on this issue! [laughs]

Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez attacks Israel, calls them the occupiers of Palestine.

When pressed on what she meant she struggled to give an answer and then admitted she does not know what she is talking about.

just read the interview she did. she is a perfect representative of the social justice warrior millenial that knows the narrative and talking point but has no clue what it means or how that narrative was initially constructed.

first she was asked about tweeting that the israeli military "massacred" 60 palestinians but instead of explaining what she meant by that she said that she tweeted that when she was an activist, and since she's no longer an activist... uh ok

gets better when she says that "people are starting to see in the occupation of Palestine is just an increasing crisis of humanitarian conditions"... when asked what she means by occupation of Palestine she backed down by saying "I just look at things through a human rights lens, and I may not use the right word".

and, the girl who's family left The Bronx when she was two made herself look even dumber by explaining ""I come from the South Bronx, I come from a Puerto Rican background. And Middle Eastern politics is not exactly at my kitchen table every night."

just like the youtube vid i posted with the millenials calling Trump's SCOTUS nominee a racist and a women-hater before he even made the choice this is further proof that 20-somethings simply cannot tell you when they simply don't know the answer. instead, they run to any one of their big 5 narratives (racial discrimination, white privilege, climate change, human rights violation followed by amendment rights, fascist fear mongering) and hope the other party doesn't ask them a follow up question

That was an epic faceplant by "the future of the Democrat Party."
