Just wanted to report that I made a small deposit to bovada the other day and noticed that it double charged me. The total was off by about 85 cents and a different CC processor description. I have made many deposits without issues before this...
I talked with Bovada CS and they don't know shit. They say oh we only see 1 charge on your account blah blah blah.
After googling "double charged bovada" I got a long list of results from the same thing.
Bovada CS told me to send my bank account statements and they'll look into it...NO THANKS. read numerous others went through the same process and just never hearing back from them and no progress ever being done.
I waited for the charge to come off of "Pending" on my bank acct before I hit up bovada.
The number on the description of the charge is a number...I called the number and the first thing this automated number says is " if you got a charge that you didn't do and need more info enter the last 6 digits of your CC"....NO THANKS. I feel like they'll just scam me more...so they are definitely scamming people and know what they are doing if they have this as their first message on their phone number which is on the CC charge.
I disputed the charge with my bank so most likely I will get the money back and they might give me a new card but I am not giving bovada a free deposit, even though it wasn't a big deposit.
BE CAREFUL depositing with bovada with a CC.
