Charles Oakley is learning the hard way ... if you try to cheat a Vegas casino, you'll end up behind bars. TMZ Sports has learned ... the ex-NBA star was arrested at the Cosmopolitan on July 8 after allegedly trying to pull a fast one during a gambling session -- and it was all caught on video. Officials from the Nevada Gaming Board tell us Oakley "was suspected of adding to or reducing his wager on a gambling game after the outcome was known." Unclear what game he was playing at the time -- but one source with knowledge of the incident says Oak tried to pull back a $100 chip after he realized he was going to lose. FYI, Oakley reportedly made more than $46 mil during his NBA career.

i saw him and ewing at the taj mahal about 20 years ago . the waitress i use to bullshit with said they were always there when they played philly...straight to casino after the game

The laws in Vegas must be different. Something like this happened EVERY day in the 2 casinos I worked. At worst the person would be banned for a couple months. I used to joke with other employees that no harm can come from attempting to cheat so you might as well give it a shot. That said I wonder how much he has lost if he is trying to cheat $100. Pathetic.

yep..i have friends that have been caught past posting. they still go to casino but not allowed to play the game they cheated on.

was hoping it was some diabolical plan that didn't pan out. That dealer, pit boss floor supervisory, gaming manager AND the cameras just barley noticed a 6-8 guy stick out his big paw to pull back a chip from the middle of the table.
