Do you guys want a daily thread where we list a play or two, why we like it,
then get positive feedback on why it's a good play or insight on why it may not be
a good play worth the effort???

Its an attempt to make this forum what it was intended to be-sharing picks, sports
related discussions and beating the book.

I like it......here is a starter open for feedback. I paid a handicapper at the beginning of the season for picks. Initially he started out on fire but has cooled off.....batting about 54%. What I noticed analyzing his picks is he is about 62% wins when his pick is at home and about 38% when his team is on the road. This is over 22 games so not quite statically valid yet.

He lost with road team yesterday, today's pick is a home team......Braves -138......I am considering $300 unless someone talks me off it.

I like the idea TR. Seems like many good cappers have left for the season or taking time off.

Nothing jumps out other than Godley had two decent outings out of
last three but that was against SD and Miami.

I'm already on AtL so :toast:to a Braves win!

Not necessarily my POD but I don't trust Arrieta yet.

Chen had a bad outing last out but pitched well at Home against
TB and AZ.

Got Mia+128 earlier today.

I’ll jump in. Not a big player in bases but will throw a play out to fade

POD thread always fun to do. I think it should be kept to 1 Play (hence play of the day).

Also, make it a running thread so it’s easy to find.

Lastly, keep your own record. I think it’s important on a forum to keep an accurate record so people who see your play(s) can know how you’re doing.

Did you miss the part where he said "why you like it"???

This isn't the thread to just post a play. Either give some sound reasoning or don't post.

Post the reason you like it.

This thread will become worthless real fast if you guys don't post reasoning. This is a discussion thread, not a place to jam a pick into a thread. Thats what your personal threads are for.

"See my thread" is an acceptable reason- I don't want people like Kaboom to
have to re-type or cut and paste....We all look at several threads in here so
please state See my thread or hell say I had a dream----anything is better than
nothing!!

Thanks! Work in progress!! Will probably take two weeks to get it
running semi-smoothly.

i played over but only because those pitchers seem to last 5 innings and then all hell breaks lose!

I may throw in a 2 or 3 team parlay and play under 9 ...

I like your position better....

Chen gives up 1 and Jake throws 3 hitter..

that's why it's a daily grind and not a daily
victory parade!

Chatwood gives up 7 last two but Cubs still win..crazy

I played over 8 because both pitchers have been awful
and SD because they are home and Chat's last two outings.
