Bel last minute odd changes

Could be another crazy day at Bel. I am pretty sure Town Fair was 4-1 as they were loading(I bet small money to win and place) into the gate and then saw he was 8/5 as the race began. He won easily so I guess someone knew something.

Hi Dave. Believe it or not those late odds changes are due to whales betting large sums of money at the last second based on what they perceive to be value. They create their own templates model on the works of Bill Benter and Dr Bill Zimba. I was with a few of them last yr at Sar.[1 is a horse owner].None of their bets was based on inside info but strictly the public betting patterns. Too rich for my blood.

Yep. These guys bet like 5 or 6 k a race sometimes more. They also get huge rebates in addition to any winnings they may earn. Each member of the group has a set amount of money they must bet each day. Us little guys are really up against it.
