I like Jacksonville over the nine. Tom Coughlin (former NYG coach) has done one hell
of a job as general manager. This a good team...especially the defense.

Jaguars were 12-7 last year and I look for more of the same this season.

The over here will be one of my best wagers. They have a killer defense and good offense, if the QB play is sound, and last year it looked like it was then 10 wins looks good.

Under for me. The rest of the division is improved. Jags are a solid team but still don’t have the qb to warrant the expectations of 10 wins. Step back for them this year.

+1...Interested to hear more why people like the over. They went 10-6 w/ 1 of the easiest schedules in the league last year. Played 4 games vs division opponents with backup QB's, had almost no major injuries besides Allen Robinson and they have the worst QB in their division.

How often does a team win 10 games with the worst Qb in the division? Not saying it can't happen but it's certainly an outlier.

Their D is nice but I'm gonna need to see more than 1 season before I think they are on the level of a recent Broncos/Seahawks/Vikings type level.

defense might be the best in the league.. young and haven't peaked yet imo..beating the crap out of the Steelers twice last year told me they're no fluke. solid running game took alot of pressure off of Botles. Bortles played great in the last 2 playoff games...think that takes alot of pressure off him going into this year. hunger should still be there.. well coached too

Playing AFC east and NFC east puts their schedule on the easy side but I still think 8 wins is more likely than 10. Don't think Bortles nor their running game is that good. Wasn't very impressed with Fournette last year. Figured for being the 4th pick as a RB that he would be better. He's solid but he's no Zeke Elliott for instance.

D is good but they were mostly healthy last year, not an easy thing to do year after year in the NFL.

Fournette had a few injuries last year. I will take my chances that he improves on this past year.

Over. There are two real tough teams on that schedule. They lost both games to the Titans last year, so the Titans are two more tough games. Not too tough after that.

The D is the best in football against the pass. In a game that clearly has become a passing game, that's really significant.

Their offense is balanced if unspectacular. Bortles sack totals have diminished each of his four years from 55 in '14 to 24 last year. That tells me that he is managing the ball better and his O line is getting better. He can also tuck the ball and run.

A little improvement on the O line to make a little more room for Fournette, and a little improvement on the D stopping the run and this team is gonna be tough to beat.

My view is that only significant injuries could prevent them from getting over 9.

when you are playing overs , I like to bet on teams , where your not giving any games away. Every game they play, they can win. obviously they won't win them all. but no one is counting wins against them this year when they look at there schedules

sorta like the Knicks where you can see about half way through the year wondering what the fuck was i thinking betting on the jags? why do i think it would be anything different from the years ive watched this team? for the better part of my life they have been more like the Browns but one year later everyone loves them. great defense sure.....but going into last year we said that about denver and they were awful on the wins and losses. a great defense cant overcome a bad qb and a team that turns the ball over. cant expect fournette to be healthy all year, cant expect bortles to play like he did in the playoffs. likely 2nd or third in the division and a .500 team at best. just my thoughts but a significant step backwards from last year.

Their offense and defense are built to play a certain type of game. Get the lead, run the ball, rush the passer, play tight covg. But if the gameflow flips and they have to play in more competitive games, I'm not sure their run D is good enough to hold up when their offense is struggling. A good offense makes the defenses job a lot easier and they may not get that benefit this year. Given I don't think their offense is very good and their schedule is harder, I could see them being in a lot of games where the gameflow isn't as advantageous as it was last year.

They just seem like a classic 8-8 regression candidate where the last thing stuck in everyones mind is they smacked Pitt and took NE to the brink.

Guess the Jags superbowl parade is gonna get put on hold for now. Hell of a win over a depleted Patriots squad in week 2 though.

Big game vs Philly next week in London. Two teams badly in need of a win.
