I'm not a Pats fan. I do respect their success and their system.

Do any fans in Boston have the real story? What's the relationship like between Brady and Bellichek. I still firmly believe Bill was bitter about the Garoppolo situation. I believe Brady is angry about the Butler benching. Rumors are that Bill was texting Garoppolo after each 49ers game and congratulating him and both those men believe Garoppolo is better than Brady.

Is any of this true? What's the dynamics between Brady and Belichick. Do we expect the winning ways to continue or will their play suffer this season? I know Brady wants to win but what is Belicick's mindset? It doesn't look like anything was smoothed over this off season. That Butler benching is still on my mind. i do believe Butler would have made that one play to seal the win after Brady put up video game like numbers and did all he could from the offensive side.

Any thoughts/tips/info/opinions would be much appreciated. I am googling information as well but nobody knows their team better than diehard fans.

there's more than a few threads here on this subject.

But you will Never get anyone here to say JimmyG is better than the " G.O.A.T "

plenty of Pats fans want to see him fail.

I for one believe he will be more than fine moving forward, as long as they give him the pieces, just like any QB

It's gonna take a long wait to get the real Butler story out of Belichick. Years, if ever.

Same with the Garoppolo trade.

Did Belichick think Garoppolo was better than Brady? That's crazy talk. Of course not.

There is no clarity about if the relationship between Brady and Belichik has changed. For the purposes of on the field play, which is all that counts, I would expect not.

As long as Brady and Belichick are together the Patriots will continue to be one of the most dominant teams in the game.

The Patriot rumors of demise have been swirling for several years now. Don't try to catch a launched rocket. You will get blown up.

Brady should go down as the most successful qb ever, thanks to his coach and the coaches system around him. Lets put Staubach under Belichick’s control and see what we get. Pretty sure there is no Brady history without Belichick. We will never know

I agree that Belichick has played a large part in Brady's success. I think that was part of the reason he benched Butler. He wanted to look like a genius and show\remind people that his chess moves are also an integral part of the success the Patriots achieved and it's not all Brady. He is that vindictive I believe.

I'll get blasted for saying this but I believe give them the same team and coach and Peyton Manning is better than Brady. I know I know guys. Okay, crucify me but it's what I believe and I will always think Peyton Manning was one of the greatest and better than Brady.

Anyways, I ask because I am parlaying Packers, Steelers and Saints week 1 and thinking about adding Patriots at home. If it wasn't for this Brady and Belichick situation I wouldn't even be debating it, I'd play it. I can't see Pats losing back to back home openers.

If Belichick did not want to trade Jimmy G, he would not have been traded. There's no bitterness about that trade. If anything pissed somebody off at all, it may have been when Belichick banned Brady's personal trainer from the sideline (and team plane?)

The relationship between Belichick and Kraft and Brady is no different than it's ever been, they're all adults and they all like winning and they all have their own lives.

Look at the money Jimmy G was paid, does anyone think the Patriots would have paid that? Not a snowball's chance in hell

The Patriots will return to earth someday, but not this year, not unless Brady goes down and they don't have an adequate backup. And they'll always be pretty good until Belichick retires

Patriots always like trading a guy who has 1 year left on his contract so they can get something in return for him rather than "paying the man" as the pats can do "insert player here for the cheap" and still win their division and make a playoff run.

If Brady didnt like his coach, then he'd retire as he is 40 years old, has a shit ton of $$, has a supermodel wife (who is the bread winner of the family), and has a career after he plays in the NFL (if he chooses).

As a dolphins fan, I CANNOT wait until he retires!!!

brady could have cared less about butler. it's the personal trainer being banned issue and being thrown under the bus by bill on the deflategate suspension that annoyed brady, bill wanted to keep jimmy g. but would have had to trade brady to do it. kraft stepped in and said no way. that annoyed bill. all is well now and they will go on and drub most of their opponents again.

i think part of belichick is greatly motivated to win one after brady. it would add to his legacy and although he doesnt talk much i think he clearly wants to be the greatest coach ever, thats just the mentality of the greats. he probably hates letting a good qb go but probably gets right back to work to win another one. the media and talk radio harps on it, i doubt he still thinks about it.

I agree with this completely. It's Belichick more than Brady who stirs the Patriot drink. Although having Brady was a blessing for all of us.

Thanks Pat have been out of the loop on holidays but last I heard animosity was at an all time high.. a convicted mob associated enforcer for New England mafia rick dion for extortion and assault had along with his muscle Dino G we’re spreading seeds of of very unflattering info about the krafts business and personal dealings in a “ soft shake down attempt “ that was a very poorly kept secret , the attempt to ratchet up the pressure Jose Baez introduced Dino g to shayana Hernandez attempting to further apply pressure on krafts on the Hernandez front by putting Aaron’s ex in cahoots with the thorn in their side dion and Dino .. shayana had is having Dino’s baby .. pressure from multiple angles .. if some of this stuff leaks krafts might have to reshuffle executive board , Jonathan might end up as concessions director lol,,, this a chance all of this has been settled on the back end already I don’t know .. just know that Baez , dion , Dino , Hernandez , Eddie lato / Luigi manochio protoge / patriarca made member of patriarch well known as dions guy on the street all stand to get paid or have been maybe if the shake down worked , Hernandez of course too.. I mean it’s a hornets nest just a matter of time before a shit storm breaks out with beliechik stuff threaded into the mix it’s mega tabloid type stuff and some lies generated on seeds of truth by rick dion / patriarch mixed on with truth and speculation no one will be spared when this comes out

R2P, basically what he's saying is add the Pats to that week 1 parlay. While it is still good to do so.
