11th race,Hoosier Park,goes off around 10pm Eastern, Lazarus N . A New Zealand-bred pacer,has won 35 out of 45 and has finished out of the top 3 only once.Makes his debut in the Usa ,Takter will have him loaded

Here's his Qualifier at the Meadowlands, pretty good for a Qualifier 1:48.3, last half in 53, last qtr in 25.3
But he sat the pocket the whole race. But still nice.

You can throw in Niatross as well at a close 2nd.

Back in the day, Late 70's I worked for a guy that was one of the first trainers to bring over New Zealand Horses to the US.

You bought them for anywhere from $15,000 to $60,000, and the cost to bring them over was another $15K
most of them you could under-class in Cond. races or take that $15,000 purchase and throw them into a $25-$30K Claimer

anyway back then some of these horses were drug addicts, and Bleeders.
