A Steelers fan snuck past security and onto the field in full uniform at Saturday's training camp practice in attempt to work out with the team before being exposed.
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the fan wore yellow football pants, a yellow jersey and a helmet as he tried to take part in drills at the beginning of practice. It remains unknown how he got past the guards, though it didn't take long for Steelers players to notice the impostor wearing a No. 43 jersey since Troy Polamalu retired after the 2014 season.
The fan, whose name remains unknown, was later escorted off the Saint Vincent College campus shortly before 4 p.m. ET. It remains unclear if he will face any charges.
The incident is the latest odd news in regards to the Steelers, as the NFL is investigating a "defective" deflated football found in the team's Thursday preseason game against the Eagles.
