Weak schedule to start so I would play Darnold. They can still squeeze some trade value out of Teddy B. Maybe they can pick up another O-alone piece to help Darnold. Run game is weak for Jets I say you go run and gun with Darnold they have nothing to lose! Cheers Ted and Irwin

Do you think the Jets have an actual chance of making the playoffs this year? If your answer is no, then Darnold should be the starter. Look at the Bears last year. In hindsight they probably should have started Trubisky from the first game on. He would have gotten even more experience. If Bridgewater does start and the Jets start to tank early, it is just a matter of time until Jets fans are screaming for Darnold to play.

Guess I missed it. Why did Minnesota get rid of Bridgewater?

I'd start the veteran McCown then slowly work Darnold into the lineup.

The Jets will have a difficult time winning six games this season.

Teddy will open the season as a Jet.

Pretty much guarenteed he won`t finish the season as a Jet.

I say these 3 QB`s will be traded in season.

Teddy Bridgewater
Tyrod Taylor

start em. gonna make mistakes whether it be year 1 or 2. you only get better with reps, watch mahomes have a rough go of it this year. i hate the narrative that if you start him and he does poor you might affect his confidence. if your confidence is affected that negatively you are a snowflake and need to man up. adversity makes better players in the long run. What if he lacks confidence? good, at least i know that immediately. if he has a few bad games and starts showing up early and staying late you know you got a gamer. if he has his head down then you know its not gonna work. stop babying these guys emotions like they need to be coddled.

@ Lions Week 1, I would lean to Josh or Teddy B. Darnold will be really good in his 2nd year, once they get rid of Todd Bowles IMO. Bowels is a good DC not a HC.

Well i will stir it up. Just like cleveland situation, the black head coach's think they have a chance to win with their blackletic qb's. Mayfield better, tyrod gets chance, same here, teddy starts seaon, and darnold holds clit clit board. Just my opinion.

To start the season the only thing that should matter is who gives you the best chance to win today - who won the job in pre-season? Makes no sense for the rest of the team to have to suck an egg and lose while somebody is learning how to play in the NFL. What about the fans? We have to sit and watch a team that is not trying their 100% best to win each game?

Well we all know that Darnold is the JETS QB of the future. McCown was brought back because he's Vet, and he had a good season last year. So he will be able to help Darnold.
Bridgewater was a Wild card, nobody knew that he would be able to play the way he played before getting hurt. But so far he looks good in the Pre-season

if you go by the JETS QB rotation thus far in pre-season, who's getting the snaps and time. McCown looks to be the starter
as they are protecting him from play time.
Then depending where they are after 7-8 games, the Darnold era will begin.

All the talk is Bridgewater is trade bait, and that could be

most years the JETS have held onto 3 QB's, so I guess we will see what pans out before the season starts

Teddy looked good. He's only 25 and if he is fully recovered from that devastating injury he could once again be as promising as he was when he played for Vikings. I would start him and play him the whole season. Even though Darnold was the 3rd pick in the draft you could always move him to another team. Darnold hasn't proved anything yet. I wouldn't let go of Bridgewater until I'm 100% sure Darnold is the better QB.
