Federer held serve 96 straight times in Cincy.

Last two matches against Djok on this surface in Cincy, Djok did not have one break point against Fed. Fed won both matches.
Fed 7-0 in finals at Cincy.
Djok 0-5 in finals at Cincy.

Cincy is a Bermuda Triangle of sports tennis fatigue. The top players come off the grass season and go to Canada where their effort is usually stronger there. Then they'll have a subpar effort in Cincy in the back-to-back Masters 1000 there. If a player does well in Wimbledon, then plays Canada, usually the tank is not 80% when it comes to Cincy.

Fed took off Canada. Djok lost to Titsandpuss b/c of a lowered tank after his Wimbledon win. Then he plays Cincy finals after about 6 straight overs and all these 3-set matches. And Djoker not back to previous Djoker level yet.

If Djoker wins today, he'll have to do it by hitting the over at 2-1 sets.

Fed got smoked.

I think this answers why Fed didn't win any slams for that gap, time period. Djoker was absent and he went on to win 3 slams. Now that Djoker is back look for Fed to win zero slams. People have counted him out, but I think this time this marks the true end of Federer.

From a betting standpoint I think this marks a huge opportunity -- Fed will lose probably 5 or 6 straight times from here on out vs Djoker... and especially in a 5-set format.

Sad to see an era end.
