I think yes. It is a league with a bunch of Cowboys fans, which is why I drafted Zeke 4th, for trade offers like this.

Personal opinion:

Zeke much better than Hyde
OBJ much better than Cooks

So, if that were the trade, it looks pretty even to me.

So, the decider is Gronk versus Doyle. Gronk > Doyle, but I think Doyle will be better than most expect. So, a win for you, but as previously mentioned, not a slam dunk winner.

It's a robbery so put the ski mask on and do it. You just need to flip Landry for = value at the RB position at some point.

Thielen > Landry

This is why I don't like season long leagues w/ trades, because over 10 weeks someone is always going to make a deal like that and strengthen another team. People just have no concept of value. Then it almost defeats the purpose of even playing.

OBJ/Zeke are comparable

Gronk >>>>>> anyone else in the deal

In a minute.

Dallas lost their center for the year. That's certainly not going to help Zeke. Hyde should be a very good run and receive back in what should be a blossoming offense (better than Dallas'.)

OBJ, asshole that he is, is a far better ff player than Cooks.

Gronk / Doyle. Nolo contendre.

And that's a heck of a team you've got.

Why can't I be in a league where I could draft a team like that and then add whipped cream and a cherry with that great trade?

Zeke should catch more passes this year than last year. But he should've caught more passes last year than his rookie year and really didn't after the first 4-5 weeks, so who knows....

Cooks/Doyle are replacement level in that league. Gronk is still the #1 TE, OBJ is the #2 or #3 WR.

Not really a fan of Hyde but he can hold the fort until you come up on another RB. The trade doesn't really fit into your team great, but you just have to take the value and figure that out later.

You can find high usage/fresh legs RB's as the season goes on (and in this league it sounds like that isn't going to be too hard), but you ain't finding another Gronk. There's only 1 of him.

I dont like it.

You dont have a strong #2 qb and you have Theilen on the bench

Yahoo put Thielen on the bench in the "pre/post trade" analysis cause I guess Landry's projected higher this week. I would pretty much always play Thielen over Landry, but I love the depth at the position and can go matchup dependent when it makes sense.

Not sure what a backup QB has to do with the trade in question...you lost me there.

It's a work league, there are 4 or 5 women in there that don't have much of a clue what they are doing. The one proposing this trade is a female Cowboys fan and just wants Zeke. I'm about to rob her.

Thanks though

Yeah, and agree with your plan of flipping Landry for some RB depth. As stated I would almost always start Thielen and Landry would bring back too much to leave him sitting on my bench. I don't mind rollling with Funchess/Galloday as bye week fill ins.

sorry, i meant to say #2 rb (had to take a phone call while was typing).

I dont like your rb's to start the season. However once a running back goes down its always pretty easy to pick up a new stud rb from the waiver wire.

However if your league loves the cowboys, you may want to trade later on in the season for a position of where you will have needs

Why are you going with the Bears D vs the Packers in week 1? There's probably 25 defenses better in week 1.

If you like the bears D that much then just bet the game or something, they're getting 8.

Also, and this is a common inefficiency I see is when people get these RB's like Cohen, Duke, J White that are strictly 3rd down RB's and can never really come up on value, I don't see the point of having more than 1 of those guys on the team at most. RB is the 1 position that guys always come out of nowhere and have huge value as it is the most volatile position by far.

People should be going less of those RB's and more handcuffs that are 1 injury away from having top 20 value. And there are tons of guys like that as we see every year.

I guess Duke Johnson was so good in ppr the last few years that he goes against that theory, but given the way the Browns roster has changed, I don't see him coming close to repeating that performance.

You don't like Ezekiel Elliot and Melvin Gordon as a starting RB tandem in a 12 team league?

Cause we were going on 3 hours at BWW in a live draft and no one cared and I said pick the Bears and a kicker for me and left. I will look at what's available.

I think he means he doesn't like your RBs after the trade since they get a lot thinner. Which is true, but you gotta just take the value. Value is value.

Yeah I don't love the RB either but
Thomas/OBJ/Thielen
+ Gronk
+ Landry available for trades or depth

is ridiculous.
