College football is finally here! Now it's time to pick some winners. These betting trends should help you navigate the weekend's slate.

Oregon State
• Ohio State is 1-8 ATS in its past nine games when favored by 30 or more points.
• This will mark the 41st consecutive game that Ohio State enters as a favorite. The Buckeyes have gone 15-25 ATS during this span.
• The over is 6-1 in Oregon State's past seven road games.
Florida Atlantic Owls at Oklahoma Sooners (-21, 72)
• Lane Kiffin is 5-0 ATS as a double-digit underdog during his college head coaching career. This includes one outright win -- a 38-35 upset by USC over Oregon as 15-point underdogs in 2011.
• Florida Atlantic finished 10-4 ATS in Kiffin's first year with the program last season, an improvement from its 2-9-1 ATS record in 2016.
Texas Longhorns (-13.5, 53) vs. Maryland Terrapins in Landover, Maryland
• The under is 9-0-1 in Texas' past 10 road/neutral-site games.
• Maryland won 51-41 over Texas in Austin as 18.5-point underdogs last season. That was tied for the second-biggest upset win by the Terrapins over the past 40 seasons (won 35-30 at Virginia as 23-point underdogs in 1990).

• Texas Tech is 10-1 ATS in its past 11 games played in September.
• The over is 12-2 in Texas Tech's past 14 neutral-site games.

• Michigan has yet to win a game that it wasn't favored in under Jim Harbaugh (0-6 SU, 2-4 ATS).

• The over is 15-4 in Michigan's past 19 games when the total is below 50.

• Alabama is 10-1 ATS and 11-0 SU in its 11 season openers under Nick Saban, having won those games by an average of 28.1 PPG.
• This will mark the 112th time in its last 113 games that Alabama enters as a favorite.

• The over went 7-2 in the nine games since Khalil Tate took over as Arizona's quarterback.
• Kevin Sumlin is 4-0 ATS in his past four season openers.
7:30 p.m. ET on Sunday
• This will mark the first time LSU is an underdog against a nonconference opponent since the 2011 season opener against Oregon (LSU won 40-27 as 3.5-point underdogs). Including that win against Oregon, the Tigers are 5-0-1 ATS with five outright wins in their last six games as an underdog against nonconference opponents.
• The under is 9-2 in Miami's past 11 games.

• Florida State went 0-7-1 ATS against conference opponents last season.
• The under is 8-2 in Virginia Tech's past 10 games.
