I know some things about the lens replacement surgery. It takes about an hour to do. You can go home after the procedure is done. It is painless. You will wake up seeing like you never thought possible. Usually costs around 3-4 k for both eyes to be done. Would research your options and be sure to get a surgeon who has performed this at least a few hundred times. Kiss you glasses and contacts goodbye!!

A couple of things- surgery should take less than 1/2 hr
and lonly do one eye at a time. One of my friends is still
blurry from a botched procedure. I had halos and stars in
my vision for a few months after surgery. They eventually
became manageable. I also have a dead are for
intermediate vision from about 2-4 feet. This is an
issue when playing poker. My distance and reading is
great especially when the lighting is not dim. I would probably
opt for the best lens available and use the laser (computer) guidance
to make the incisions as compared to the cheaper methods.
Hope this helps.

friend of mine had the lens replacement surgery
done on one eye one year and the next eye done the next year -- due to cataracts
appearing in each eye at different times - - - basically painless and now has 20/20 vision.
