with that surname gotta be of French heritage. How good is this guy? won both the US Amateur and NCAA individual championship. Now has 4 PGA titles as he wins back to back vs a stellar field . Cruised to victory both times

he'll be on the STACKED 2018 US Ryder Cup......will majors be knocking on his door?

nice story about his dad

so do I, they never get old. Laugh out loud funny. An outlier for sure.

'if there was ever a tournament in midnight i'd be the only guy under par, i'd know where to walk...right down the middle'

Ryder Cup is going to be awesome. How can this US team lose?

Johnson
Koepka
Spieth
Thomas
Woods
Mickelson
Fowler
DeChambeau
Reed
Simpson
Watson

when have they had a team this deep?

Johnson wants to be partnered with buddy Koepka, can you imagine? similar demeanor, same ball flight...both hitting casual stock fairway finders: carry 310, total 330yds. @)

Back in my golf course superintendent days we had Moe Norman come to the course one day. That shit was truly amazing to watch. Literally every single time that old fucker hit the ball it was dead ass straight. Never seen anything like it. Obviously he was a character too. This was probably 2000-2001 so he was in his 70's at the time.

I believe not only does this DeChambeau kid use the single plane swing I think he is the one that has every one of his irons the same weight and length too. Like every iron is the length of an average 6 iron. Doesn't matter if its a 3 iron or a 9 iron they are all the same length.

We would look weak/scared if this happened.

DeChambeau wins The Shriners. Won 3 times a yr ago, and starts the new year with an early win. He has won 3 of his last 5 starts. He is now number #5 in the world.

does he win a major in 2019?

Cameron Champ at the par 5 9th , 553 yds; driver- 382 yards @) ...at the par 5 16th 526yds; driver- 362 yards

............all that was needed was Yanni genius to close.......

wtf is DeChambeau doing? this guy is playing PGA Tour events as if they r muni courses. Will there be a bunch of copycat kids , follow his lead?

here was the plan:.............executed.

“I want to gain 20-to-25 pounds and gain 20-to-25 mph of ball speed off the tee,” DeChambeau told Nolan.
“You’re crazy,” Nolan thought to himself. “He got a good laugh [from everyone there].”

When he really wants to lay into a driver it looks like he's a candidate for a Long Drive Competition, out of balance has to move the lead knee away or risk damaging it, lol.. Leads the tour in driving distance . last 6 events ? 6 top 10's. i think his driver has 5 degrees of loft ,and he hits it 5 degrees up, the ball stays in the air seemingly forever. HOW DOES he stay somewhat accurate while generating that much clubhead speed? I say its gotta be the One Plane Swing, ala Moe Norman

Insane
Guy is fun to watch
If he could dial in his short irons and touch around the green he'd be nearly unbeatable

Couldn't back him in this tourney at such low odds (+700 to win, -175 top 10)

BUT
Bryson -145 over Reed today (Round 2 DM) sure seemed like a gift.
Love Reed but he doesn't quite have it locked in right now.
We'll see how it plays out.
