Looking at the OVERS Jets/Lions

[FONT=proxima-nova, sans-serif]The defenses on both teams aren't the best and I can't say they are they the worst in the NFL. I don’t expect the Lions to be able to run the ball against the Jets’ defensive line, so Matthew Stafford will be airing it out and so will Sam Darnold.

I trust that stafford will be airing it out, Detroit is used to even having a run game so they’ll adapt well when the Jets run D stops them. But my concern is Darnold. When I go back and watch all the pre season throws that he’s made, it seems to me that he’s more comfortable dumping the ball 4-5 yards downfield, and anything over that he throws short or inaccurate. So my thinking is the Lions will at least try to run quite a bit wth their new guys at first, and Darnold and the Jets will also kill lots of time taking so many plays to get downfield.

another thought is that Sam Darnold is the future of the NFL and is one of their favorites. Look for Lion penalties to keep the Jet drive going
