New York City marked the 17th anniversary of 9/11 with a moment of silence at the site of the attacks on Tuesday morning. Governor Andrew Cuomo, Rudy Giuliani, Nikki Haley, Bill de Blasio and Chris Christie were among those in downtown Manhattan. Giuliani was the mayor of New York and Christie governor of New Jersey on the day.
