League looked the same to me as it always has. Not sure why so many people were boycotting the NFL because of this before they even watched it. How many times was the helmet rule called in week 1? How many times was the QB dive thing brought back? Lol two rules fake implemented. Couldn’t tell you how many times the players used a part of their helmet to tackle and nothing was called. Looks like barely anything has changed. sayididntwattchbutreallydid#fakeamericans#sportsunite#footballoverpolitics#wethepeople#dontbelieveeverythingyourread#Thegreatestsportintheworld

Looks like all the flags in the preseason were just to create awareness more than anything. So players don’t try to take someone’s head off across the middle.

Roughing the QB flag is bullshit

same as the tackling rule

just so the refs can effect the game

Clay Matthews late hit was legit. I didn’t see a bad call in that manner all weekend.

I like the body weight rule. That should have been implemented long ago. That’s not even a bad rule by any means. That’s ufc world wrestling type shit. Straight up body slam somebody with 300+ lbs? You can’t fall down on top of them intentionally like that. Just an ignorant lazy play which only purpose is to injure.

The DT landing on the QB rule after he sacks him is bullshit. Like a 340 pound man can help how he lands on a QB.

Thats intentional. A 300 lb man isn’t the same as an nfl 300+pound professional athlete. It’s not like they are trying to break up a pass. They are trying to hurt the qb. It’s not like the QB can’t get hurt now... look at Rodgers. Look at stafford. Legal hits. Stafford got hurt twice, the knee buckle was his own guy.

The lowering of the helmet to intiate contact though I saw no flags. Pretty sure none of the sport shows will mention this. I guess we only talk about it when they fuck up. Not when they do well and people actually enjoyed the product...God forbid that

I saw 2 with 1 ejection

Yeah ah the bengals hit on Luck that’s right. That was also legit.

What was the other?

if we are able to identify them by the specific incidents, that’s good news. When there are 10 of them and we lose count that’s a problem.

there were some issues with pass receiving when the receiver hit the ground. i don't think anyone in the western world knows what a legal catch is now, including the refs, coaches, players and fans.
