Mega parlays for fun?

Used to be a contest in the local newspapers decades ago. You pick the most winners in the NFL (SU) and you get about $5,000. Tiebreakers were the closest scores in 3 separate games. Something like that.

Never won even though I got 13 and 14 games right a few times.

A 10-teamer in the NFL (-110 odds) risking $1.00....... pays $642.08.

In the NFL the winning team covers > 80% of the time. So usually if you can pick the winner, you're successfully picking the spread. (Should've used spreads in the above example.)

Thus, can you pick 10 straight-up winners in the NFL?

I think that's worth a one $10 stab every weekend for about 6.5K.

I do this regularly... $5 for a weekend par that will win 1k-2k. if nothing else, its worth the entertainment.

You don't wanna know how many times I just miss 1...

That's true. I think it's one of the best entertainment values out there. A movie $10 to $15. Usually get more entertainment from this kind of parlay.

Back in the day Skybook had $10 8 team reverse teasers that paid 100k. I had hit my 4 college plays on Saturday and had another play that pushed, that dropped my teaser down to a 7 teamer that paid 30k. My 2 NFL noon plays both hit leaving me just needing the 49ers/Cardinals Over to hit(49.5) for a 30k score.

The score was tied 7-7 with 5 min. left in the 1st Qtr when TO caught a long TD pass making the score 14-7. Unfortunately the TD was overturned on review and the 49ers missed the first of 5 missed FG's that game. Gramatica missed 2 FG's and Jose Cortez missed 3 FGs. To this day I'm not sure I've ever seen an NFL(or college game for that matter), with 5 missed FGs. Jose Cortez was cut the next day, it still stings to this day and I can remember it like it was yesterday.

They give me a nice high. I hit a 7 teamer last year in college football and won a little over 7k in bitcoin. That was my biggest hit up to date, I’m def gonna try and top it this season
