Any Apartment Renters in Delaware here?

I'm seriously thinking of moving there in early 2019.... Have contacted a couple of complexes, but like all the rest it's a crap shoot as to truth. I'm concentrating only on the Harrington to Dover areas.. I don't want to get into Wilmington, too close to Phily... Just need any advice and I realize it's a longshot asking here, but nothing to lose.

whats wrong with being close to philly lol? im 30 minutes from philly and unaffected by anything that happens in the city.

Nothing, but from my general glancing at apts with a Wilmington address, there are way too many that fall in the restricted income price area... Normally the others are too high for me.... It's a catch 22... Make too much can't rent here, make too little, one only a day if lucky and can make it.. Just my general impression... Nothing against Philly per se.. I bet the Eagles in the SBowl..

Never heard of making too much to live somewhere unless you're talking Public housing.

"Restricted Income". is the term used here in Virginia. Some nice apartments that will not allow you to make even 1 dollar over the number. It changes from area to area... I guess you could call it public housing.... My retirement is just a few thousand over the yearly amount allowed... Then the ones that are not restricted generally are too high for me.

I fucked a fat chick in a Wilmington apartment once, don’t know nothing about renting it though. The was a little black girl prob 4/5 years old passing a joint around to everybody in the apartment. That should tell you all you need to know about Wilmington

Oh, Ok yeah guess it different in different areas

In NY as long as you can pass the backround check and make enough money to pay the rent, you can go anywhere But Public Housing
for Public housing you need to make I think less than $15K or something like that

Funny for an old guy like me that DREAMED of living in Las Vegas and a small timer at that, it's so close.... While'm closer to Maryland, feel more comfortable with Delaware...Guess cause they've took the first bullet so to speak..... I love New Jersey, the Garden State... Worked for the gov 4 plus years there... It's simply too expensive for a small timer like me.

When you're young ---all things seem possible in the great US of A. While not a veteran, i did my 30 with Uncle in a civilian job. I'm old enough and raised country enough where---one's word was a bond..... Forget the right-left and center as a measuring stick... Simple facts and asking for info, seems to be left in the 1960's or somewhere nearby... that's the sad part of aging.
