Most of these Missouri athletes are not SEC caliber, especially the defense, which will be shredded with hungry GA players fighting for playing time. And there is "no look" ahead games soon for Georgia, they will pour it on.

Missouri lived a charmed life winning late last year against very bad teams, lame duck coaches, etc.

This year they haven't beaten anybody of note, they gave up a ton of yardage to Purdue and will not stop GA until the scrubs are in...

Locke is a top NFL prospect QB and they have a few good receivers but Smart will figure out how to deal with him, with his team speed on the artificial turf expect Locke to be on his back a lot today. Oh, and Georgia QB Fromm is top notch, distributes the ball well, and will negate that small Missouri advantage.

22 starters per team, realistically 4-5 Missouri players could start for Georgia. Maybe fewer.

GA blowout.

Almost 80% of bettors are on Georgia yet the line has barely moved. Opened at 14 and now at 14.5.

Interesting?

Agree with you Serbone on the athletic disparity of these 2 teams.
Will look like 8th graders vs 6th graders

All valid points Serbone. Add to that that Purdue’s QB, who isn’t even their regular starter, tossed for just under 600 yards against our suspect Def last week. Lock hasn’t been sacked much this year. Expect him to be on the run today. I’d love to see the upset being I’m a Tiger, but I’m realistic too. This might get ugly before all is said and done. Barry Odom is yet to record a signature win while at the helm as HC.

I see 66% on Georgia not 80%; there are different data bases, I do not incorporate all of that into my handicapping any more. I look but do not stress it.

And, hell, most favorites are >60% all the time, and this is Georgia, a national brand name that went into OT last year for the whole she-bang. OF COURSE a lot of civilian money will be on them. Duh.

I understand that and that someone said 99% of this forum is on GA (who cares?), but it does not make the 4 star and 5 star Georgia future NFL beef run slower or hit hard today. It is what occurs on the field. A mismatch. Does anyone disagree that only a few MU players would start for GA? Tell me.

Smart is a very good defensive coach, I think he will deal with Locke. Fromm is a good QB, too, with better support. GA is loaded with top notch talent, on a mission to get to the playoffs. MU is overrated if you ask me, they appear to be a bowl team from last year but really weren't very good. Missouri D is the weakest unit on the field, by far, 600 yds to Purdue???

Sure, I hate laying 14 1/2 on the road in the SEC, but Missouri is NOT a SEC core team... and sure, it could be 49-21 and Locke put up some late TDs in the 4th.

We shall see...

These players are so undisciplined. First Georgia gets called for the personal foul on third down for roughing the passer that led to a Missouri td. Then Georgia barely scores on a ball the receiver let's go of as he crosses the goal line.

They still scored the TD, lol.

Georgia has given/left a ton of points on the field. Should not be a sweat, but it is. Not second guessing my bet, would make it again if they played again next week.
